I remember playing wc2 when I was in elementary school and when wc3 came out my brother and I played that shit like crazy. Once I started college, I started hearing about WoW and looked it up. It looked incredible, so we gave it a try.

My first and favorite character ever was a night elf rogue named Shaymus. My little brother started a night elf hunter named Dannas. That first realization that the whole world was so huge and seamless was incredible.

I got to 59 and just sat there doing PvP in AV, WSG, and AB and refusing to level, like my brother and my friend Tyson did, because BC was coming out and I wanted to wait because I knew the Outland greens would be better than the Vanilla purples. I was right.

But that night before it came out my friend Tyson and I were waiting at the Game Stop in line with a bunch of other WoWfags to get our reserved copies. We took Adderalls and stayed up all night checking out the new zones in Outland. The next year or two were the best gaming years of my life.

There are plenty of games mentioned and games not mentioned that have made an everlasting imprint in my life. But the Warriors as I've never played a game where I could replay the same fight in the same location with the same characters over and fucking over, the sheer execution of how the fights worked in that game I have never seen and doubt I'll ever experience in a game.

Now in Overpoch you get a gun and a heli within 20 min or less. And the Standalone sucks atm, but is progressing. The mod has a certain feel though thats way better than SA. SA is just to..clunky.

Games that have delivered epic highs: Chrono Trigger (the whole game); Final Fantasy VII (Aerith dying and spending hours breeding Chocobos); Super Smash Bros (and to a lesser extent Melee); Alpha Centauri (every playthrough); Diablo (hearing "Ahhhhh... Fresh Meat" is one of the few distinct moments I recall in my early gaming life); playing my first RTS in Warcraft II in some demo computer set up in a Circuit City or some shit; the moment the Flood attacks in Halo 1; Halo 2 campaign & playing Tower of Power on Ascension with my whole dorm floor linked together through the LAN; WoW Vanilla; GTA IV and V; Mass Effect, and moments in 2 & 3; Minecraft; and both Portal 1 and 2.

Well, if it sends shivers to my spine and gets me excited then it's a good game ( feels like i described orgasms....) Mostly wow and WoD story ( etc the frostfire ridge end battle, prophet velens sacrefire, blackhand scenario)

because of Quake3 i still use esdf in every game instead of wasd.
Its great for hotkey games like WoW.

Damn I used to play WoW, I remember when I first stepped through the dark portal with my first main. Right when it loaded and I was in Outland this lvl 70 rogue is right next to me and he says says "welcome to Outland young hunter." Then takes off on his flying mount.
