I usually go for male in a first playthrough because I'm male. When it comes to MMORPGs it depends on what class I pick. If I go for an archer or some type of mage I often pick a female but as a warrior or some sort of tank I often pick a male.

I'm 100% anti-RP, but for some reason I absolutely always view my game character as a virtual representation of myself. So it's ALWAYS male, even to the point of having a hard time playing games with only a female protagonist.

It also makes it hard for me to choose non-humanoid races in rpgs. For example WoW, I can play as Human, Undead, Elves no problem. It took me a while to be able to make an Orc but now I have to problem with it. As much as I like Dwarves, Goblins and Tauren I could NEVER play as one. Absolutely fuck Trolls, Gnomes, and Blueberries.

When I was young I could play the shit out of things like Tomb Raider, just spent most of my time trying to angle the camera on her tits. Now a days I just kinda look at all video games like the holodeck in Star Trek, and I don't wanna look retarded.

I almost always choose male when playing RPGs, my first playthrough is ALWAYS a dude, I only choose girls when it actually makes a difference in the story (like in DA:O, when I choose a girl on my 6th playthrough because I wanted to be queen of Ferelden) or when I want to see lesbos make out (my 7th playthrough, Leliana <3).
