I play poker, and quite profitably too. Used to do it to pay rent when I was a student in London.

It's about 60% skill, 20% maths and 20% luck, though luck plays no part in the longer run.

My maths and technical skills have been quite good but I've only recently been really nailing the reads and feeling vibes of opponents to sniff out bluffs and big hands.

Used to go to Leicester Square on the weekends to play against the moron gamblers with way too much money who literally don't understand the game. Used to make at least 3-4 thousand pounds a weekend.

I have a problem with learning a new language. Learning new languages don't give you any fundamental knowledge.
