isn't it like 3 AM there? Shouldn't you be passed out by now?
WTF...does every drunk tank in Ireland have wifi?
We're on the one road, sharing the one load
We're on the road to God knows where
We're on the one road, it may be the wrong road
But we're together now who cares?
Northmen, Southmen, comrades all!
Dublin, Belfast, Cork or Donegal!
We're on the one road, swinging along, singin' a soldier's song!
i see, after the guinness and whisky though I suppose.
damn, wish I was visiting. Nice dubdubs btw
Tippereary, happy new queer
who eles is in the middle of no where ?
Can't wait for the army to come back from afghanistan and put you potatoniggers back in your place
God save the the queen!
Is 1,000 euro enough to buy your love until I get citizenship?
My mother and the rest of her family are from Macedonia. I'll live in Harlem before I ever live there, hah. What a bummer.
Do any of you understand how hard it is being a Protestant and not being a unionist. I dont know what to think. I like the queen, I like the UK, But i fucking love Ireland, I am Irish and the Brits were fucking cunts lol. Discuss for me and help me out pls
Fair enough, Im a prod living in the holylands in belfast. So much more educated and clued in than i used to be with what happened. I cant help but think Ireland should be united. But im a uk citizen? Ive been brought up to believe in unionism? It just doesnt work for me i dunno haha
That's because partition of Ireland is unnatural! If Unionists want to be British they should move to Britain. Funded by the Irish and British governments. And any Unionists who want to stay in a United Ireland are free to do so.
True, i think alot of republicans should realise, Ireland will never be this peaceful united eutopia that we all crave for. We were always fighting with ourselves before the brits haha wouldnt be like us to fight! And fucking shite-hawk loyalist need to realise no matter how hard they try they cant denounce them selves from their "Irishness" hahaha this place is fucked up, pass me a pint
we raped yours two. Raped british waste dumps. Idioitc retarded piece of shit. Your a cretin.
I agree! But ive been brought up under british rule, educated buy a british education system, and healed by the NHS (arguably the best health service in the world) and I cant turn away from all that. Yes we mighten have the flag we want to fly or the passport we want. But under british rule in this modern era, you cant deny it, its not a bad place to be. Its the people ourselves that fuck it up
True! the thing is paddys day isnt a catholic celebration. paddy is burried in Down Cathedral. A prod church. We all have a hell of alot more in comman with each other than we know, drinnk being the most comman thing
The NHS is light years ahead of the HSE and yep the education is a little better in the UK. But social benefits are actually far better in Ireland, and we get more Holidays.
Plus a United Ireland, after the initial phase of adjustment would be a very powerful economy on it's own. Building a better Ireland as one people is surely the dream. Aswell as having good relations with the UK IMO
Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. He was a Christian missionary given credited with converting Ireland to Christianity in the AD 400s. So many legends surround his life that the truth is not easily found. St Patrick was not actually Irish.
true, but were not here to have a big dick contest on our welfare systems haha, to be fair we could have a great economy, no reason why belfast and derry couldnt become a serious world trading city with corporate companies as dublin is at the minute! small matter of the 10 billion it costs to run NI which comes from Westminster. Any idiot can realise that quite frankly I dont think the ROI could afford us. even with the increased population. Initial capital need would be immense.
Never once have i said hes british, or try to make it a british day? Yes im a prod, does that mean I cant celebrate it. Because I can tell you I was the drunkest person in belfast for it last year.
Correct he is from what would now be wales. And yes he taught christianity, no denominations had been formed yet. I was simply saying, people who dont support it because "its a republican thing" need to check there facts out.
It would definitely, for a period of about 10 years there would have to be significant borrowing. But to be honest with Ireland's potential and the lower corporation tax it would bring to the north I don't see why the economy can't grow into itself after that period of about 10 years.
It would be worth it IMO
lol I cant see anyone lending ROI money any time soon. They are on about the same financial level as greece. They are paying for their water for crying out loud, its a fucking travesty.
Im dual nationality. Never once here have i stated my prefered nationality. I own bith a brit and Irish passport, I have the strongest passport combination in the world. Why cant a brit In NI celebrate it? Paddy was the patron saint of Ireland, the island Ireland. not ROI. Not ROI plus the catholics in NI. People like you saying what you can and cannot do because of who and what you are, is the reason were in this state.
Are you serious? Ireland experienced 5% growth in 2014. We excited the EU bailout over a year ago, we're borrowing on international markets again, we've sold off 70% of our debt and our credit rating as a country was raised to 'A' staus which is a fair few levels above Greece!
ok fair enough, wasnt aware haha, economically I cant see it happen in my generation. but that doesnt mean to say i wouldnt be open to it! yeah im a prod and brought up unionist, but i consider myself just as irish as anyone. Id just love to see this place prosper to what it could be, under a peaceful rule
Iown both two but the fact that Prods these days are out when we're waving the tricolour about celebrating wiith us makes me lauh and the fact the parades are covered in tri-colours and you stand there applauding make me sick because your the first to reject Ireland (maybe not u but the Unionists)
Secondly he's the Catholic Patron saint of Ireland, Catholic
Third, Ireland was once United but now it's not like we keep getting reminded so when we say Dublin is Irish is like you saying St.Pat is Irish
this pic was taken in dublin city
why cant a prod hold a tri colour? being a prod doesnt automatocally make you a unionist vice versa being a catholic doesnt make you a republican. check out Protestant irish republican on youtube, some really interesting videos, even for me an open minded unionist. With regards to me a unionist on st paddys day, i embrace it all, we are all the same flesh and blood from the same plce, there is nothing different about us. and the flag protests in belfast and the band parades and everything i denounce, i hate everything about it. Performed properly there is no reason why people cant have band parades. But they way they are at the minute i dont agree and refuse to have anything to do with them. they do not represent me, it is not my culture.
English people, what are they, they are the bastard product of being raped like the subject bitch population that they are. The Romans French Germans Vikings Dutch
They don't raise a tri-colour to celebrate paddys day and you know it. St.Patrick is the patron saint of the Island of Ireland, he brought christianity to Ireland before there was a such thing as protestant ffs.
Clearly you're a republican or at least Irish, so I thought you were one of those Loyalist Plastic Paddys
Yeah but Ireland
everything Unionism denounces, Why not carry a Norn Ireland flag around sure kek
Yeah bt when we say we have history with the South they laugh, but when it comes to ST.Pat it's Okay, by the way it was the British and William of Orange who brought Protestantism here not ST.Pat
no im not a republican. I suppose im a unionist, always been brought up that way. But i like to think im incredibly open minded and progressive, i find myself agrreing with the shinners more that any other prod party, apart from united ireland thing lol. Do not worry about the stupid loyalist thugs, with any luck natural sekection will take place and they will be reomved from the gene pools. Hopefully by some fucking bonfire accident on the 11th night, ohh irony haha. Im an awful fucking prod hahahaah
cool it's a small world, im from drumnakilly
where those fucks were killed by sas
in fairness you live by the sword you die by the sword
time is on our side if you care about a united ireland
it's in our hands
id be all for a referendum, what better way is there to let genuinely let the people speak and decide, though it will be like the scots, when it comes down to it anyone on the fence will shit and stay with the union. Either way I would jsut want it to be a unanimous win. Less people pissed off with result they didnt want and hopefully no retaliation haha
Aye man 3 were shot dead (executed basically) by the SAS in Strabane here too but I think I think what I know what you're on about up near omagh, they killed 2 SAS but it wasn't reported until months later and they said it was a car accident
yeah in cappagh, heard about that
it's probably true, it doesnt really matter whether it's true or not
the ira was in bother but those huge bombs in london made up for it
so here we are
the shinners are playing this place like a political pupit masters lol. by far the strongest party here and are making a mockery of dup. Jamie bryson, willie frazier etc are the best things to happen for nationalism.
My great, great grandfather was Irish. He was from Dublin and a personal friend of Molly Malone.
yeah they're nobodies in the grand scale of things
the shinners have fucked over the sdlp big time
they've fucked up everybody big time
im not political but the pragmatist in me sees where this is going
derry was shit during the troubles from a provo perspective, people think mcguinness is a tout, dont know if it's true or not
i mean i dont even support the ira really, im just interested in this stuff
yeah it was a fucked up state
from a /b/ perspective gerrymandering was hilarious
i mean you couldnt make that shit up
im near omagh, we're all taigs but it was a unionist dominated councial
so something had to be done
so even though i dont support the ira i dont have much sympathy for the prods
