Still works, got this in 1976. I am ancientfag
The Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48k. Still have the Spectrum + in the cupboard.
yeah later on I got that thing too. just getting a list of files was a goddamned nightmare compared to the apple II. I hated my stupid C64, but I guess it got me going in tech.
I got the 16K RAM pack later on and I was toolin'.
You know there are still games developed on c64? just saying
I got my first PC when i was 13.
Manufacured in 2001
My first fap was on this
this fucker, year 96, i was 7 years old
>inb4 doom and carmageddon
Had so much floppy games for this kick ass machine, played it so much. Then I sold it for $20. Biggest mistake of my life
I don't understand the need of reverse engineering something that is widely documented already.
To make a game for the Commodore 64 you need no more than the Commodore 64 itself and the knowledge to program on it, plus disks/tape writers of course, but that's the basic equipment of whoever owned a C64
Happy new year oldfags.... Newfags... Go fuck yourselves.... /b/lives on...... #urallgayasshit
God fucking damn I am old and rich. Anybody remember this?
I had the second much better looking model and 3rd party joysticks. Still had dat tape deck though which flashes colors errywhere on the screen when you load a game. If I ever find another c64 im going to take a few tabs of lsd load some tapes, sit back and trip balls.
Still got my C64 to this day in full working order, though the joysticks are well worn ... can't remember what game was called but there was some olympic game where to run, you had to hammer the stick left and right really fucking fast, thats what killed them!
DEC PDP-11 for me. Complete with teletype/paper tape reader. LOL
Picture of me Dad's first Computing System. Made the family really rich.
Ooops. Forgot post.
Tandy 1000. Get on my level
I believe this is it. 486. Notice the lock on the computer, the bane of children, and a valuable tool for parents. Oldfags will remember.
first computer i bought with my own money
had to use my tv as monitor since i was poor
this was mine.
had a 1.2k modem for it and everything
the fuck... I think that's the first time I've ever seen an actual commodore 64 game that was paid for because I've don't remember ever seeing clam shells cases like that before
Packard Bell 386.
I don't recall all of the specs, but whatever was common circa 1993 (I think).
Had that with a tape drive and the speech synth addon. Parsec, munchman and... tombstone? Fucking great times. Learned to program basic on that bitch.
kinda sucked, was slow, played addictinggames on it until it died from viruses
yes it was a computer. source: first job out of college had me using the same CPU to implement a telephone answering maching. LPC coding FTW.
I even have some soft plastic case, pic related(not mine)
>have that same kit as a kid
>hooked each component up to an extension cord
>many pleasant explosions
>grew up EE, now writing embedded software
Ahh... the only computer I ever loved... 2400 baud modem was my lifeline as a nerdlet.
no, it was a TI specific 8-bit micro with the LPC crap built-in. Forget the name...
Inherited from grandfather.
Its sitting outside in the rain because I just dont care
Just hanging out with my portable PC device apparatus
boyah! ibm xt. No harddrive. x2 5 1/4 floppies
