how is it that I play on EUW ( which is considered the most toxic server of lol ) and almost never have this happen to me? Pro-tips for carrying-

Top. The most diverse of all lanes. Marksmen cone up here. Tanks come up here. Even assassins, fighters, and mages lane here. Know tons of matchups and your powerspikes. Play panth or wu if you want

Jungle, look at winrates of various junglers by division. Cater teamcomps that suit them. (Mumu,-teamfight team, wukong-your team has weak ad or initiation) etc.

Mid-easiest to carry from because you only need to be wary of their jungler and know when yours is going in. You aren't reliant on a support. Check historical winrates. Profit

Adc, look at bottom lane synnergy.
Look at adc matchups.
Pick accordingly.
You dont have as good of a chance at getting ahead while adc, but you a lead can snowball harder as adc. (Harder to win, but better rewards if you do). You shut down 1-3 opponents instead of 1-2 (adc, sup, jung as opposed to jung and solo laner) then you take tower then you take drag. Big lead.


Supp, same as adc is, but knowing how to play against other supports and adcs js more crucial since your kit is more than autos.

Been playing my whole life in EU, after the server split they placed me in EU west and been playing there since then. I had plat in season one and diamond rating after that in other seasons.

Me and my roommate bought smurfs and decided to try our luck on NA, since it's holidays and all that.I got 90 ping when I play, and I'm used to 20-30 ping when I play on EUW. i mean, basically. I can time my ults perfectly and i have soloed 80% of every drag I've taken with him (approx 20 in ranked). My only problem, as I asked earlier in this thread, is teamfights, but that's technically a problem I have with most champs. Then dont team fight, do a lane fight and then rotate to a objective. For example if you kill the adc in botlane go take dragon after. Invade their blue and ward the jungle.
After every fight you need to pause for a second and look at the map and see where you can do something to make it easier for you to win.

Yes fights pre lvl 10 usually dont do much objective wise but you can jungle ward the enemy side of the map, this gives you a edge in the next fight so you can then take a objective.

the biggest thing i improved upon from gold to play was map awareness.

mechanics are good and what not, but if you can keep track of where everyone is and predict it helps a lot.

that and try to predict what enemies will do, thats other thing i worked on improving.
keep track of timers on flash, ignite, ult etc.
Example of stuff I did was when facing fizz as kata, i would try to predict when he would try to ult me and then shunpo it and when fizz doesnt land ult, kata will beat him.

The reason why C9 is so effective is they actually play all champs and all positions, they review tape regularly and seek to understand every champ

You wanna carry? Learn every champ. Learn every position.

And stop playing an ADC who has a 3 minute cd on her ult and tries to be squishy and get in people's faces. Her kit needs a re-work, she needs to be able to be built as a bruiser. You can do it right now, just not effectively.

The game pretends to give that to the player but with a lack luster number of maps there are never any surprises no weird or realistic random map types to navigate. Its all predictable and boring.
