Was there any foreshadowing for the KorraSami?

I haven't seen the episode yet, from pictures iy looks quite a bit like they are more lovers than friends, but I'm frustrated because there didn't seem to be any foreshadowing so it comes off as fan-service.

I still stand by my previous statement of respecting the people who wrote the show, but Korra and Asami seemed clearly depicted as more than friends. It felt like sloppy fanservice. No foreshadowing, etc. Nic might not have let them foreshadow and thats why they kept taking them off air, messing their time slots up, or not advertising them

I was shipping KorraAsami whole series even i can say it came out suddenly. Only parts you could take it as foreshadowing were, the blushing, letters and the "i couldn't handle losing you too" at the end.
It was love blooming from close friendship yes, but it was also rushed.
