The Wolf of Wall Street
Just watched it. Fucking hilarious.
Everyone knows Pulp Fiction is a great movie.
1 and 2 only
Dallas Buyers Club
Kings of Summer
For a classic:
Besides the last one, I limited my responses to recent movies. There are too many honorable mentions to list
was bretty good
wolf was pointless
Memento is my favorite of all time
Pan's Lab was great
Requiem + American history were good
kek outdated but good
same outdated but gud

I also know shit like this.
Sincerely: a 12 year old fagt
So much this.
This is a must see as well
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
The Breakfast Club
These are some of the movies I thought were really good back around 2006, the last time in my life I watched movies.
look at this nigga. just look at this nigga.
goes through everysingle post and thinks like "I am th almighty critic, my word is gospel."
God you really are a faggot. Like we call eachother fags here but you are sincerely an autistic cunt.
It's good, and I have it in my collection, but it's not a 10/10.
It's a true 8/10 and better than 99% of the crap most people watch and say they like, but it's no sublime work of art I think of as true 10/10s.
True 10/10 movies are Godfather/Citizen Kane/Gone With the Wind/Seventh Seal/Casablanca level. They come along maybe once a decade when all the stars align just right.
inb4 "what age did you grow out of tarantino films"
I Admit I only watched because of the redhead, but I actually enjoyed this.
More than an adventure/young love movie than an anti-bullying one.
"The Selling of Vince D'Angelo"
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqqp0xcLIKY
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNSZU04rN0w
you faggots better start watching this shit now
Ok. The movie is utter shit though.
Oh noes, black and white for more of that sad feeling except the little girl in her red dress for that artistic awesomeness.
Nobody cares about John Rabe who saved 200k+ because he was a member of the NSDAP and he only saved chinks, not kikes like good old Oscar.
This wonderful anon knows.
Pretty damn good film.
It was bretty gud, but I can definitely see why someone would call it "boring". Scar Jo's voice gave me a boner though.
I just saw pic related and it was also bretty gud. Although it came dangerously close to entering pedo territory
Memento wasn't all that good, it just always gave people who like to think they're smart something to think about. In that way it's similar to inception, it's just convoluted and give lazy minds a little exercise, it's not truly very intellectually stimulating.
Therefor if Memento is your favorite movie and you've seen those other movies, I don't take your opinion on movies very seriously.
Also Wolf was boring, fake and shitty...Nice tits was the only reason to watch it.
Not quite "god tier", but definitely one of my favourites of the year along with gone girl and edge of tomorrow
That movie was stupid as shit. I had high hopes but there was not a single scary part. The monsters voice was laughable and he looked retarded when you did see him. The acting from the mom and kid was really good but her depression and freaking out just gave me anxiety. They couldve made a good movie but it was pretty lame, ending was retarded too. Last good horror movie i saw was prob drag me to hell or the newest evil dead
Bruh, we had to read the book, and watch the movie in my Junior Reading class.
I love this one. Joe reminds me so much of my dad.
Also, here's one.
College freshman starts staying off campus with an older women and her qt jb daughter develops a crush on him.
Drag me to hell was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Me and my girlfriend went into it expecting a horror movie and it turned out be a love child between A Haunted House and Scary Movie that takes itself too seriously.
Like Goodfellas but, consisted of mostly lies...Zero believable characters, zero characters with any depth, zero sympathetic characters. Overall a total waste of time, really fucking long too for no reason.
If someone edited all the great tits in the movie into a single webm there would be absolutely no reason to see it.
That's 4 James Cameron movies on the list. I would even put The Abyss on there too and maybe True Lies on the god tier action movies list. And people say he sucks...
Iit a pretentious prick tries to talk superior.
Look you shitdick, this isn't Randy Rates 4chan Murder, we don't need your goddamn opinion on every fucking image. Do you walk into grocery stores and start rating the produce? Well, shit this apple's a bit browner than the other, I don't understand this cucumber, that's the best fucking grapefruit I've ever seen. No, you don't do that. So why the fuck do you think we need you to analyze every fucking post someone puts up? If I ever see some retard rating asparagus I'm going to walk right up to him and kick him in the dick, because I know with confidence it will be you.
Avatar wasn't that great
The CGI is already looking pretty dated, see dawn of the planet of the apes (which sucked btw, CGI was only good part), story sucked, characters were boring
Yeah no, other Anon is right, TWOWS bored me, the couple of chuckle-worthy moments were the only thing stopping me from falling asleep.
Leo's performance was literally the only good thing about it.
Pic related, personal favorite.
Requiem for a Dream
The Truman Show
The Usual Suspects
The Butterfly Effect
Book of Eli
The Big Lebowski
No Country for Old Men
There Will be Blood
American History X
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Dark Knight Rises
Honestly though it wasn't very good. I fell for it the first time too, you are always putting something together in your head, so you are constantly engaged the whole time so you think it was amazing. But artistically it is extremely weak, it has no lasting message other than "I am so smart for liking that show!"
lol, i actually do write a movie critics column
It's to hear your opinion, it really is. I thought inception was dumb too. Memento on the other hand was very unlike anything in hollywood. Gritty, well thought out story that doesn't pretend what the viewer thinks. It's a killer story with several plot twists and it goes without saying the way in which nolan plays the movie backwards is refreshing.
That said, i could care less if you take my opinion seriously because i wasn't direction any of my comments towards you in particular
Yeah, right? What the fuck is that supposed to mean? You think I secretly liked that pos movie? The characters are clearly made up, they are almost exactly like the characters from superbad or the hangover. Those are good shows because they admit they are made up, but wolf doesn't. Wolf had about 3 real moments in a show that claims to be all true, and that rubs me the wrong way. The fact that I thought it was crap doesn't mean I'm a hipster because I really am not and I don't listen to music.
Here's a good one
Say what? In my experience its a favorite among hipsters along with tarantino shit (pulp fiction and reservoir dogs are superb, tho). I have heard watchin fight club being described as a spiritual experience. Made my blood boil.
Ya I was probably being needlessly harsh on that opinion part I just dislike that movie for being spiritually pretty empty. And most people who love it I think just got mindfucked into liking it.
I adore this movie.
I can understand why people don't like it though. I was lucky. I saw the ending before the beginning.
Easy with the hormones there, puberty can be a challenging time. Nice projecting, but no, I don't really identify with a political ideology or study computers. I just like thoughtful movies and were hoping for a recommendation along those lines
I watched The Matrix a while back and didn't like it. I've tried watching the Big Lebowski 3 times, but I can't get through. Is there something wrong with me? Or are they just over rated?
you sir, are a gentleman and a scholar
it's a metaphor to show how africa is being drained of it's natural resources to accelerate the death of the continent. all countries are involved, but none want to take credit for fear of losing popularity amongst the people of the world. thus explains the wolf
Definition of god tier...
...for all people: the best of the best; god like movies
...for /b/: Good but not actually very good movies. It is god tier if it's not mainstream. What other people like is surley not good.
Fuckin faggots here hate everything that is mainstream.
>Hurr durr Pulp Fiction is bad. Old Boy is best of all time because noone knows it. The Big Lebowski is my religion, because I am like the dude
They are all on coke constantly, you can really tell if you are looking for it, kinda funny sometimes. Also Debby herself was pretty hot, and everyone was just waiting for her to get fucked the whole movie, and she goes last, so people sat through the whole thing more often than most porn. I think it just gets referenced a lot as a joke is the main thing.
Meh, pulp fiction is overrated and boring, but not as overrated and boring like the dude.
I honestly dont have the slightest clue why those movies became so popular in the first place.
Oldboy was pretty alright, but far from godtier
6.5 (I just didn't get it. Will re-watch though)
2.0 (Fucking hated it)
