If you wanna grind easy and fast, with fatty kief build up.
Depending on how much you smoke like ounces or qps, I would get a coffee grinder.

Yea what others have said. It's nothing close to a cigarette filter. It's just folded up cardboard or some thick paper that maintains structure. Without a filter, someone might hit the joint and it'll get wet from moist lips, then it becomes harder to hit. If someone gets the crutch wet, it'll still hold structure and the only negative would be that it's slightly damp.

I'm very happy with my black label RooR (bent neck with nice catchers) with an added ash catcher.

You can't really go wrong with an old school bong, as long as you have an ad catcher.

I'm not a fan of percolator so I just have a honeycomb on my downstem and the ash catcher.

Vaping is good (I have 3) but don't even use them as I prefer a bong. Smoking from a vape doesn't give you "low end thud" that vaping does.
