>ITT: mostly unknown godtier movies
i highly recommend watching the 3 original ones, the new one is great too, just in another way
so much cringe, so fun
not godtier but really good
one word: desparation
this one seems like a pseudodocu but its based on a true story, which is really horrifying
not unknown but anyone care to explain the ending or know more movies like this?
kinda cheesy but i liked it somehow, not godtier though but everything but boring
anybody else have seen this one?
i thought it was great, awesome antiwar movie
Reading it at the moment, gonna watch it as soon as I'm done.
well it is over here in germany
not godtier but if you like cheesy and epic spacebattles and watched the anime as a kid you will like this one
"Meister, schau was ich dir mitgebracht habe! Das debile Burgfräulein!"
Yeah I'm surprised more people didn't like it. 10/10 film for me. I even recommended it to friends. It was really good as far as the psycho-thriller aspect. Loved the twists too. I love when movies simulate a character slipping into manic or schizo episodes and you struggle to discern what is real. Although I gotta say playing Radiohead's Creep when he offed himself hit me hard af. I actually grew a little attached to the character. But yeah, it's a great film.
as funny as the movie was, the ending kinda sad
Fucking yes, couldn't talk for 10 minutes after this.
Ari Folman then went full love for the animation, and did this
probably the best korean war movie ive watched (its not about the korean war though)
Oh yes do, no regret (based on a novel from the same author as Solaris)
And while you're at it, watch Paprika. Trust me, even if you don't enjoy japanese animation
i did already, awesome anime. and thats coming from a guy who usually dont like animes. i wish i watched it baked though, wouldve been even better.
I would have loved to enjoy this one.
Mon négro. Mate pic related
if you dreamed as a kid that the moon will fall down from the skies and crush the earth check this movie out.
i had several dreams like that as a child and this movie gave me such a nice nostalgia feeling in a creepy way
about a really paranoid guy
I went to see it because "yeah, a boogeyman horror movie, awesome"
Fuck, that's war far better than what I expected, one of the best horor movie I've ever seen.
First one of it's realisator, also.
the scene in the subway alone was worth the while
Bad boy bubby. One of the best movies I've seen in a while.
Autist kept inside a shit apartment and abused / molested by mom till he's 35.
Never been out. Thinks there'd bad gas outside (mom always wears a mask when she leaves.)
He gets out finally. Follows him learning to live in society.
Great movie. Watch it!
Daaamn didn't expect to see this here.. Gave me shivers just looking at the poster.
This movie was something... people tend to think of Oldboy.. but as far as I'm concerned this is the top tier Korean movie to watch, much more depth.
Pic is french movie. Really shook me up.
And for you personally I recommend Eureka.
if you liked the s.t.a.l.k.e.r. athmosphere check this movie out
the horror lies in the story, not in cheep jumpingscares
will check it out, reminds me of this
Read The book. Totally worth it.>>581838093
And pic related, the darkest humor. Known by heart by me, venerated by some of my friends.
This actually a documentary about people from Port Adelaide
Those were not missiles, but lighting flares
You are correct. "They" focus on the film being about sex addiction, but it is about Addiction as a whole and illustrates exactly how an addict mind behaves.
I got off the booze thinking I was an "alcoholic", it was only when I started picking up ANY activity I could to distract myself from my fears of life that I realized that addict is addict is addict, regardless of the activity in question.
didn't like it. all the characters stayed superficial throughout the whole movie. it left me completely indifferent and untouched. i might as well could've watched a gonzo porn movie. about the same amount of sex/story-ratio, but shorter
i didnt like it that much but many others did, so i post it
this one touched me way more than i expected
great movie but the guy wasn't actually autistic, he was just really fucked up as you can imagine from having that type of upbringing and never had social interactions.
Pretty good flick, destined to be a classic someday
Book was light years better.
I wish it were a documentary because bub was a bad ass.
I'm an amerifag. Watched that movie and was blown away.
Another one I liked was "feed me."
not really unknown but this is /b/ after all..
not god tier, but watched it with no expectations and was nicely surprised, great characters
What about Coherence
what the fuck? get that shit outta here
came out during the time of kick ass and the like but it is highly underrated. if you expect a super hero movie like kick ass you will be suprised how this turns out.
the movie is very funny at times but also kinda sad
Guy started college.
Falls for an older woman attending.
Stays with her.
Has JB daughter who develops a crush on him.
Australian movies are either depressing or crap. This is a rare funny one.
This movie is so fucking great. I'm not a movie guy but I've seen this three or so times in the past year. Fucking great film. And the slurred-beauty if the inherently drunk-sounding Danish language made the entire movie oddly comforting to me.
Cronenberg in general is God tier
it's a great movie, just not for you anon.
Joe the collective mind of /b/ driving the body of a badass motherfucker.
Sort of pathetic, too. You can read what he thinks or says and recall having similar thoughts somewhere in the past
Makes you almost feel sorry for him once or twice
dude this one sucked so much, it had potential but the lack of logic was too much for me to enjoy it. it was 50% well done and 50% total garbage. imo only cgi and cast made this movie good. the plot was so retarded. i mean really why so fucking stupid, why???
yeah but I think most people know him for his body horror stuff. his other more dramatic movies are great too. I even loved Cosmopolis which most people seemed to hate.
this was great 10/10
>being jewed into beng cucks
I AM THE MOST COMPLETE FIGHTER IN THE WORLD!!!!
I feel like watching that one again now.
The director of the movie went on to direct Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies and the writer died. No more from those guys.
I also think a movie called Wreichmaster Harmonics might be just your thing.
I wouldn't normally recommend that one because I don't think it would be to a lot of people's linking, but you seem to have a good amount of open mindedness so you should check it out m8.
this one was pretty fucking funny
Right? Got a couple movie tittles I had never seen before, gonna be watching them this weekend.
Special thanks to OP for most of the contribution.
One of my favorite movies.
But did he? I think that's the problem. You never come back from accusations like that. This "always believe the victim" feminist bullshit is creating situations just like that (see the Woody Allen case)
This movie is difficult and awesome. Don't read anything about it, just watch it.
OOh and this too.. this
This absolutely is godtier you pleb
That was like the korean saving private ryan.
ALOT of execution style pistol shots. Loved it.
Pic: alot of people heard of it. Still god-Tier
Don't judge till you watch it, it's one of the best comedies I've ever seen
Loved that one. Creepy as fuck
Fuck, I made a shit-post and then immediately thought of my favorite god-tier movie you probably havent heard about
This, This all day.
i really want to watch that movie but i feel like it would make me rage so much.
Also, Pi. Not godtier, but really good.
tried to watch it a few nights ago with my gf but the syncro sucked balls so we decided to wait until i got the original. i dont expect much from it though, first impression was that it has a "try hard" taste
another god tier
Some really good Swedish movie my Swedish showed me
It was the daughter's older brother. And I can safely say that this has nothing to do with feminism. It's a Scandinavian movie and there's close to no focus on feminism there.
About to read it, in hope of understanding (same author as a clockwork orange, played in it; also, a linguist, which in both works is relevant)
this movie is good, there is another movie with the main chick that shes a witch... its funny as fuck lemme try to get the pic, witching and bitching
its too well done for making you rage, i could empathize with every person, which made me realize even more how dangerous "mob justice" is if you can call it that
tangled > frozen
I believe you. Its on my netflix que list. Great director!
I didn't even listen to talking heads when I first saw the movie. it kept popping up in my netflix recommendations so i finally watched it. it's one of my favorite movies ever! the whole atmosphere of the movie from beginning to end is fucking mesmerizing.
now I love talking heads too. 77 is god tier.
