the 'full' version
smoking on some bubblegum No1 (from the 90's lol)
under 50 bucks to grow, we're looking at one ounce a plant
no, it doesn't
leave it be and it will develop a stronger root structure through stress,
nature knows what the fuck it's doing anon
Anon is relatively sure growing marijuana is almost retard proof. But if you want to teach us how to grow super weed, be my guest.
>using stolen lights from a friends garage...
you can buy this shit out of garden stores and pc shops
>(no-one can prove anything in court)
it's a fucking plant anon...if you can't grow tomatoes....
we plant yet?
gotcha covered dude
mistakes can always be forgiven...
once every couple of months these things will turn on overnight just to fuck with you..but it's all good
I love this one
>organic is better, but we're doing things on the sly so..
Anyone trying to learn, google SOG, "Sea of green" for a faster yieald.
Or as in my country where it's only leagel with two plants, google SCOG, "Screen of green"
science class was never this fun...
Katalonien, none profit weed clubs b/ro
I mentioned screen of green in the post you refer to, and a sog can be put in bloom after 3 weeks when you normaly start cutting your plant.. So idk what you are talkinging about
they missed one crucial ingredient anon...me
it's too early for me, I missed that
anyways, you can put a plant into flower at any time, but sog or scog won't flower them any faster
pic is my bros Cali outdoor, he topped them early
cost + wattage = cost anon
>solo cup challenge
nothing challenging about a small container. I've grown a lot of plants in small yoghurt cups just from lack of things to do.
where was we?
same, it is the safest way, especially when you pay for seeds
wet paper towel, put seeds in, put in baggie on top of dish reciever or cable box for warmth, normally in 2 days they pop
If you have a SOG you have a lot of topps, if you just do 2 plants and wanna cut them to get the same yield, it will take longer time.. But sure, if you don't cut the plant and rest with a bare minimum yield, they will ofc take both as long.. But I'm comparing cutting a plant vs sog, same amount of yield.
Inline fan and an activated carbon filter, best way. You can also use products that "remove smell", Ona brand products work pretty well, but in the long run they're pretty expensive.
dude, you know only shit seeds need pre-germinating right?
the math is sound
>fresh seeds grow like nature intended
>old bagseed needs helping out
if you're pre germinating females you should be calling your seller for 10 more
I posted a couple of pics on icmag, but never took any part in competitions.
not true, some of my seeds are over 20 years old, they need the extra help at times
I haven't posted there in a few years, what up with Gypsy?
I never tried the contests, I don't have enough space or big enough plant count to mess around like that
more is better, obviously.
This was grown with a "25w" cheapo chinese LED spot.
both ...100 watts output is 100 watts output, be it candles, HDL lights, or house bulbs
think about representing the sun...in any way you need to
The only way is with activated carbon filters.
Gels, sprays, HEPA filters, Do Not Work!
Also remember it smells more while drying than while growing
>This was grown with a "25w" cheapo chinese LED spot.
WoW, didn't expect that, nice LED grow!
>feds plz lv
went there for hollydays about a decade ago no weed to be found anywhere just shitty hash from morocco.
that picture basically made me decide to visit catalunia again ! props to you and your fellow smokers!
don't oppress my plants you non-cis scum
we need to go deeper
a single flowering plant can produce tremendous smells even WITH carbon filtering
during harvest or close to it shutting off the filter would result in a pungent smell that permeates the whole house and probably your garden too.
on a hot dry day the smell can stay in a certain area and build up to levels where you cant ignore it unless you are utterly ignorant about mj .
with carbon filters and a solid air tight setup the smell is minimal . combined with a chimney as exhaust smell is a non issue
so we've got sticky icky trichomes appearing on the buds...
It was indoors, the coloring is genetic, but also cold temps can influence
>T.h.e Fa.pp.ennin.g Fu.l.l C.ol.l.ect.i.on
Please oh great guru of ganja please enlighten all us poor saps who just cant grow weed. Or better yet make your own thread and detail inside it how to get 1 gram per watt without spending over 4k for the set up.
Long story short
You are wasting your time and money by attempting a stupid two plant cfl grow. It's much easier and likely much much better quality to just go out and buy a nice ounce. I wouldn't even consider growing unless it were at least 10 plants in a proper room with hps lights
wait a second anon...I may just surprise you
I'm not following, this picture clerly has a yellow light. Have we changed light somewhere without me noticing? Are we cheeting with an HPS maybe?
you make any money off it.. I'll send you an invoice dude
Nope, no surprise, looks like after chopping her down, that yielded 14-21 grams tops. Risk aside, that three month wait isn't worth my time when I can go pick up an ounce of super fine bud for $250
i said they are easy to build, not easier. it's not really hard all you need is some buckets, airstones, waterpump or both.
google basics of hydroponics and build yourself one
I used an almost clear milkjug with bottom cut out had it in the window the entire growth though I'm jobless and live on the bottom floor of an apartment it worked, I laid it on its side and pruned it accordingly I grew a hybrid in the bio-dome milkjug
not sure if flushing really works but it's useful to do when you want to grow right after harvesting so nutrients wouldnt burn young plants. 2-7 days is okay
seed germination thru seedling stage 3 to 4 weeks
flowering on 12/12 light cycle 8 to 12 weeks depending on strain type
approx 1 month at least for drying to get a good taste from your buds
I just popped some Bodhi strains, also some stuff from Mota Rebel, and Dynasty genetics.
I also crossed Kosher kush from DNA with Bio-Chem from 303 seeds, and got some fo these going. I need to make more seeds, I have some real old Dutch seeds from the 90's to work with
over one ounce dude. Every time now
I confess I tried a F1 recently, turned to shit and I got a quarter. I also confess The first grow I tried this way made about 3/4
1oz, 1 plant, 50 bucks a year I shit you not
it should not be colder than that, if it is it will slow down growth, if you are growing outdoors the main thing is getting seeds that will finish before it gets too cold
pretty cool thread, OP, howevery, i would sugest something to get you up to 2 ounces a plant, you grow similar to me,
however i make a scrog screen, and grow in coco coir, perlite, and in air pots,
this acts as a hydroponic medium but still treaded and water fed as it is in soil like in your images, this and scrogging and training can squeez an extra ounce outa your plants,
the guide he posted was using chemical ferts, that is why the flush, if organinc no flush is needed
but yes, just giving water is not the same as flushing
>1.21 g per watts.
I have one strain that flowers for 100 days, it gets no ferts for the last 30 days, but organic stuff is still working in the soil, and the plant is not starving like somebody else suggested
shove that in your pipe and smoke it
didn't really have a problem with the first one dude, but better
Nice thread yall and OP.
Still waiting for that gathered collection.
But a starting grower here, usually the plant takes 8-11months to grow right? But to keep it in a jar atleast a month and other time consuming things, it takes 12+ months to grow one patch?
And some picture mentioned about summer ending etc. so which time of the year is best to start growing?
(Really to pretty cold where I live all times of the year. Going from -30C to 25C.)
it is very basic
get Marijuana Horticulture: The Indoor/Outdoor Medical Grower's Bible from Jorge Cervantes for more details, probably the best beginners guide
Mmmmmmm.. Youall dingily dont think im a redhhneck`mmph.. EY BRANDIINE.. THIS SOME WHITEBOY MAKING FUN OF US.. GET MY GUN
this is bad advice. As important to the amount of light is the quality and color spectrum of the light. CFLs have a shitty spectrum and poor light intensity. If you're going to grow under fluorescent (which is generally kind of a bad idea) you should be using a T5 grow light (a quick google search will bring up several for under $100).
Really, even a little closet grow like this should be using an HID light, preferably High Pressure Sodium. Two plants will do just fine under one 100-150w hps light. You can pick up an HID grow fixture for about $50.
You will produce more and it will be higher quality. If you have specific questions about light spectrum or technology I can answer those.
hi guys. whats with all the tiny plants in this thread?
Same here, dont care about the weed that much. But if I grow, Ill atleast taste my own production.
Also the torrent of the book i put up, its decent, kinda hard to navigate and i wish it was in my own language, but not bad for a freebie.
Dude, you're gonna have small buds, and less yield.
You put it in flowering stage too late, that's what happens when you do.
Indicas are smaller plants.
i had it happen before but not this big. it is hard to manage with nutes and when its fully budding i had to water it twice a day sometimes. but i got just under 9oz.
OP's grow was done under 180 watt cfl with a 80% white during veg and a 80% red during flowering
how would you improve on this using HID without increasing detection and fire risk?
$15 for 6400k CFLs
$15 for 2700k CFLs
$10 for CFL sockets/bases
he Sun Systems 150w HPS grow reflector is $55
For an extra $15 you can have quality light. Yeah, CFLs are just bad advice.
>By decreasing power usage by about 30 watts and using a fixture designed to channel heat
soooo, a cfl with spiral design then?
>that's kinda why they were made...
When plants are experiencing stem growth, they are sensitive to blue light with wavelengths between 430 to 450 nm.
When plants are flowering they are sensitive to red light with wavelengths between 640-680 nm.
Stem growth is important, but not nearly as important as flowering growth. Since the spectrums on those CFLs suck, you aren't getting much light in those specific wavelengths anyway and that "white" CFL isn't doing much good.
HPS puts the majority of its light out in a red-shifted spectrum with a large portion of its light between 640-680 nm.
Also, "bare bulb" grows waste more than 50% of lumens put out by the bulb. You're lighting you ceiling and walls as well as your plants. A reflector directs about 90% of that light onto your plants.
A CFL is a bulb, not a fixture. This grow suggest bare bulb CFLs with no fixture.
Fluorescent lights don't put off a ton of heat. The spiral design in CFLs is to ensure even light distribution and create a lamp that fits in common fixtures. It has nothing to do with heat dissipation.
Just so you guys know, I'm not trying to be a dick. I install high efficiency lighting for a living, which is why I know lights. I grow as a hobby (I live in CA and have a card so its legit).
I know my shit *pretty* well all around, but lighting is my bitch.
If I ever have the time/desire to I will. My non-lighting grow tips all come from growers forums you guys have access to, though.
Right now I'm offering to answer any of your lighting questions.
I grow on a 4'x4' pallet with a single 315w Philips Ceramic Metal Halide lamp, powered by a Global electronic ballast in a Vertigro fixture. Its an expensive set up (~$400) but its the highest quality light available outside of plasma and its the most efficient technology currently available.
Check out the Cyclopix Greenbeam or the Sunsystem LEC setup. Both of those areless than $500 and will get you a 315w Phillips CMH Agro bulb on your shit
