I recently visited Sicily. it was beautiful. Then I went to the aeolian islands, volcano, stromboli .... beautiful. Then I took a ferry to naples. horrible disgusting city. full of trash and dirt, I felt like I was in a third world country. It was so horrible. Pompej was interesting, but the city was just tremendously terrible. Just the thought of it nauseates me, I think I will never visit italy again.
