I don't carry it one me everywhere(obviously) but I do make frequent use of it chopping up snakes and overgrowth.

It's functional but also looks cool. Got it for a cheap $20 bucks for two originally planning them as a display piece until I moved away from the more urban areas. Not sure what kind of steel but I know it isn't stainless as this thing has been through hell and back and still haven't lost their edge. Cuts through 2 inch thick stems like butter.

Just the one on my multitool. I used to also carry a folding knife but it was just redundant; I could do everything with the multitool's blade, so I freed up the pocket space.

starting with flat stock is defeating the purpose of forging a knife. might as well grind it. if you start with a round bar you forge more of the metal creating a tighter and more uniform grain structure throughout the metal.
