I actually watched a documentary about this. What the psycho quacks decided was that in the face of imminent death, what is actually hardest for people is the knowledge that they are completely out of control of the situation. Because of this, a lot of people decided that they would rather have some form of control in their last moments so they opted to jump. They claimed that this would have put them in a much better state of mind - going from ok I know I'm going to die, and theres nothing I can do about it, to ok I know I'm going to die, but at least I can choose how is actually a big step towards a better end. I think this is why so many of these people almost look blissful as they plummet. As horrendous as the subject matter of OPs pic is, theres something oddly serene and beautiful about it - in a really fuvked up way of course.

Private schools can be very good when you get the right 'maverick' teacher. I had one in years 9 and 10 who had us read Plato, Aristotle, Kant, Descartes, etc. I hated him at the time, but he challenged the way we had been taught to think. He basically taught me how to question things, and because of this, I learned things aren't as they seem stateside. He could have never taught any of that stuff in a public school. He was also a rare case.

Universities, seem to have a more stringent and controlled curriculum. On top of this, most students at this point are already (I hate to use this phrase, since its fucking cliche) too plugged into the matrix to not get angry when a prof says something out of the ordinary. On top of this most unis now have an increasing amount of adjuncts (professors who aren't real professors and get paid by the hour). The adjuncts are there basically to pay the bills so they don't give a shit.

Truth be told, stories about wtc7 are are mostly bullshit. Most of the building was made of hydrocarbons, the carpet, desks, etc. Hydrocarbons burn a really high temperature. The video shown to usually explain how there were no reasons for it to go down only show one side of the building. The other side was engulfed in flames. The fire weakened the steal on the lower levels and brought the building down. Not much else to it.
