DMT is the pinnacle of the psychedelic experience. I can't do it unless I'm already tripping hard on something else, or else the jump would be too intense and would frighten me.
If you wanna get a taste for what the experience is like you can try to get your hands on 5-MeO-DMT first.
With real DMT, you wanna make sure you break through (~50mg). You don't wanna do a sub-threshold dose.
Doing too much is dangerous too though. The last time I did it I did way too much and I had a seizure. I now know what it feels like to die... not fun. No lasting effects though

the first time I tripped on acid it pretty much changed my life
it basically made me sort my life out a bit and stop doing so much drugs
(which I was doing a lot, the day previous I was out in public sniffing lines of mandy off dvd cases)
I would recommend a £10 tab of acid over a £10 bag of weed any day
