>learn photoshop shit on youtube >freelance graphic design (literally the easiest thing in the world) >use proceeds to go into the trade market >use guides to figure out how to cope with losses and when are prime times to invest >in a year you'll be rich
Been doing this for about 2 months, easy as fuck. Lost a bit, but I've over doubled my profits and I'm still going up.
The stock market is ridiculously easy if you're smart. Buy quality diversify, and try to time things as well as you can (you will never be 100%, but the goal is just to have more at the end than you started with). Don't start buying random companies you've never heard of because you read one article about them or just like the industry in general.
Start by pirating photoshop and cruising through beginner guides and tutorials on youtube and stuff. Then when you feel ready, get your name out there by any means necessary (Facebook friends, craigslist, local ads). You should get a couple of customers, then if people like your work you'll get reccommended, you'll work for more money, put some into trading for extra potential. You won't even have to leave your house.
>>555836452 i already have some Photoshop knowledge and did two years with it at school how easy is it to get customers though how long did it take you to get your first customer? how much did you charge at the start?
>>555835730 don't. been doing it for 14 years now. the industry is saturated with entry level fucks driving compensation down. if i hadn't made art director by now, i'd have left this line of work long ago.
Well, I was lucky that someone I knew was starting up a company, so I helped out with a basic logo and other bits for the website. I charged about £100 for the whole lot (There was a good 30 hours of work involved). I took a couple of personal jobs aswell, people wanting designs for youtube backgrounds and other such things, I don't charge much for that (Between £5 and £30, depending on how long it'll take) since they usually provide a couple sources to work with and I hardly ever have to work entirely from scratch.
Have you considered the fact that you might be shit? Nothing works for everyone, I'm sharing what worked for me. And it clearly didn't work for you, so why the fuck are you still doing it after 14 years?
>>555834815 You fuckin' niggers and your fuckin' we get rich shit. Tryin' to make money by doing as little as possible while I'm workin' 6, 7 days a week for all I got (and it ain't much)!
Worthless niggers like you make me ashamed to be a Democrat. I'm all for helpin' someone when they're down, but I also expect a return on that investment; not just a nigger taking my handout and doing nothing to get out of the situation they're in.
You wanna be useless all your life? Fine; I want me a nigger chair and a nigger desk with a nice big nigger paperweight on top. Might as well get some use out of you lazy niggers.
I found out most tires are made by the same manufacturer who sells them by the truckload (they fill a semi up with tires and it ends up coming out to like $10/tire depending on the size). They stamp whatever name or logos on the tire that you want and send the shipment wherever you want. goodrich, pirelli, firestone, etc all use this company, and just get their logos stamped on the tire.
I was thinking of getting a shipment of tires (around $5000-$10000 depending on size, quality, etc) and selling them for like $50 brand new, or roughly half the price of new tires here. I could even get my own tire company started if I wanted to, all I'd need to do is send them a document with the name/logo.
My first investments were small amounts (£20-£50), and I made sure I had at least £500 in the bank before investing. I've made it a rule that the maximum amount I'll ever invest must be under 10% of what I have at the time. Any over that and you'll risk losing too much.
What the fuck is wrong with you? Dip your hands in blood and sell your soul, lady Macbeth. >draw stupid /mlp/ shit >charge 60USD per character >make Calenders >make dakimakuras >go to a 'con' >get pussy Mission complete
Ok go with me on this: >all stats show niggers love to kill other niggers >but niggers always going to jail for it >whites can kill niggers b/c stand your ground >whites can get away with killing niggers b/c legal knowledge, literacy, etc >so why not have niggers pay you as white to kill other niggers? >let's recap: >niggers paying you $ >you kill niggers for $ >less niggers
Really the only downside is niggers are poor/ uncreditworthy, so you'd just have to demand payment in advance.
>>555834815 There's this guy that posted in a stoner thread about penises.
Severed penises can be reattached Even a whole arm has already been transplanted penises are even less complex than arms(what the poster said in the thread), like less muscles and bones and shit (allegedly) Using these info, here's the plan: 1. Slice dick from big dicked hobo 2. Find desperate little dick guys with lots of money 3. Surgery the penis onto them 4. Profit 5. Sell hobo as unsullied 6. Profit 2x (made that shit up)
How to be rich: >get into network marketing >worship Jordan Belfort >worship the Straight Line There are fucking 24 year olds making millions a year just because they learned to sell, they learned to teach, and they taught everyone they sold the same thing.
I joined the merchant marine sea lift two years ago and have already saved up 40k after expenses. The average pay is around 60k for 6 months at sea and has amazing benefits + travel. No college degrees required just effort and willingness to be on the ocean for periods of 4plus months.
Yeah. If I spent the rest of the money on stupid shit.
£250 a month goes on rent, and about £50-£80 on food (Lidl, nigga). And I've only just started investing. In about a year, my profits will most likely be up tenfold. Investing isn't a get rich quick thing, you have to play the market right and it involves patience.
I will share with you /b/ros a method that will bring you good cash and depending on your work, can give you up to $500 a day:
>get some templates or themes that you can install on a host >get some classified ads saying youll setup a free website >all the technophobe peasants that wanted a website but never had a chance yo get one, will call you > you say you will do it for free but wont pay hosting > give them your affiliate link to a host, and gain $50+ per sign up >install the theme that was previously chosen by said peasant
Finish an easy IT degree such as Information Technology, or management.
Never get your PMP. Manage a few smaller junior level projects. Move up to Pharma, Tech, or even retail corps. Mid to Senior level project managers make 100k MINIMUM. (My new gig is 120k, full benefits, bonuses, and company perks.)
Best part it's really just setting up meetings, hounding people for updates etc. It's the easiest work ever, and granted it's not for everyone and everyone won't be great at it...but I'm basically managing other people doing work and getting rich off of it.
Listen to me Bros, and you may follow in my footsteps. I may even bring a few of you with me just for the hell of it.
>have qt3.14 Chinese waifu, wtf that means >She has a cousin who invests in Casinos >I gave him $10,000 to add one of his Casinos >ROI is 1 month. 1 fucking month >Making $120,000/yr >Bring back the money I need when I need it >Opened 3 fast food restaurants in China >Opening Restaurants in the US now with the money I made in China
I attribute this 99% to luck and 1% to not being a retard with money.
>>555837943 stfu i study and work, both full time believe it or not, and i still dont see myself getting where i want, so i want to try a way to make more money asap. because fuck being poor. and fuck sleeping.
>>555843072 Use twitter, facebook and make a fcking website to promote urself u lazy fag. At least it works to me. In a good day I can make 100€ more or less. Once ppl get to know u, things will be much more easy.
I remember a thread a long time ago when anon supposedly sold used panties on craigslist for 15 dollars a piece. He would Photoshop a picture of a hot girl who he claimed to be and desperate people would fall for it
Started a company with a few friends. Friend is a veterinarian and we designed these super food type pet treats for horses, dogs, goats, lamas... Ect I've been marketing it and we're currently selling it to 10 different stores in 4 different states and still going. I have a feeling we'll be millionairs in a year or two selling it everywhere.
Blue eyed? You'll have no problem my friend. I went North, near Qingdao. Beijing is overloaded with foreigners so you won't get anywhere.
Heres great places to get started and full of potential: >Xi'an >Chengdu >Chongqing >Hangzhou (best business area)
Stay the fuck out of Henan. Too many people with AIDS
And that is the easiest way to get to China? Teach English or be a "college student". They provide you with a 1-2 year visa. Most of the times working in China takes literally 20 hours a week, usually just the weekend.
I used Aston English, it was the easiest and most laid back after speaking with other people at other schools. It might not be for everyone, but it worked for me.
>Ride a bike instead of driving This is twofold: You save on gas and your healthier, which means less medical bills. >Don't have kids They're not "Miracles", they are people. Theres 7 billion of them already. Stop having kids.
USA. I'm not stating the company lol I'm under NDA. I did a 3 month stint as a contractor and was pulled on full time immediately. (They usually wait 6, but my manager pulled for me).
Career path was: Service Desk-->Business Analyst-->3-4 contract jobs that were all minor PM work, usually laptop rollouts etc--->Helpdesk Tech Tier III, took on better projects and became sole guy at the office. Coordinated office move and remote site setups for solar--->Director of Managed Infrastructure Services for an IT Outsourcing Co.--->Current position Senior PM.
OP here. Basically I made smart decisions career wise and busted my ass at every job I've had. I'm 10 years graduated from college this past spring. Technically summer since I had one class that was Maymester that went until end of July.
I was lucky in that I had a cousin who worked for AIG at the time, he set me up with a 2-year Junior-Senior summer internship outside of school, AND when I graduated I got a 8 month contract out of it.
Now ALSO factor in there was a YEAR that I was literally out of work too, and the 4-5 contract positions were no benefits etc. I'm a Type 2 Diabetic (not really overweight but it runs in the family :L) so it's not all peaches and cream.
At age 27/28 I realized I was not being smart with my money and I got hardcore into automatic saving and putting into my 401k at a full time job. I put 18% of every paycheck to that, and then paid down any other loans/bills.
Use your connections bro. If you know someone that steals shit, fence it for them. If you know a drug dealer, finance his next deal. If you know a lot of stoners, sell them their drugs. GTFO the internet and find opportunities in your life. >Sold weed to some friends >Cocaine was much more lucrative so switch >Made good money, left the street >still in the game (financing, finders fee, dealing ks) That's what worked for me though. You might do something else.
>>555846767 maximum i will buy at is $1000. but why wait till its that high?
minimum i sell at is irrelevant, because I hedge as the price climbs. 2300, i sell 20%, then benchmarks as it grows, 3000, sell 40%, etc.
It will take around a week to crash from its bubble, so dont panic sell. There will also be a drop just before the bubble, dont panic, its called a bear trap. just hold and watch your friend on 4chan make your dreams come true
You can make it rich at any income level though. You just have to be smart about it and show a little restraint.
I'm of the camp of finance where the biggest earnings you can make aren't giving up a daily latte, or counting every damn cent. Make your savings/investing as hands off and automatic as you can, and when you get raises, bonuses and new jobs with massive salary increases (compared to raises etc), don't increase your standard of living.
I'm 32 with nearly zero debt. 4k left on a college loan, and pretty much saved for engagement, wedding, honeymoon and halfway to a down payment on a place.
Best thing you can do is educate yourself in a lucrative and profitable industry. Liberal Arts doesn't count. It kills me that my poor gf busts her ass daily at a daycare and makes $11/hour. She's exhausted every week and private nannying she made at least $16/hour completely under the table
wow, a thread on 4chan with good advise? I've done my fair share of graphic design in school and on my own. I currently work at an upscale restaurant that is lacking there professionalism in there home made marketing ads. The ads are grainy and missing that professional touch. Maybe I could start there... Thanks /b/
Nothing spectacular but, pic is 100% OC I did a little photoshop work for a friend last summer that I'm pretty happy with
>>555843072 >I want into fix laptops, windows, networking on craigslist. >I did it before and was ok. >how do i get rich with this ?
The same way you get rich fixing cars or houses. Save big chunks of your money and invest it.
I did a consulting gig in 2000 that paid 3k. It was a huge amount of money for me then. If I'd kept it, I would have blown that money out of my ass. Instead I bought into the SPDR S&P 500 ETF with half and bought physical gold with the other half.
>>555847830 Taking risks doesn't imply irrationality. Putting some money into something that has only a 20% success chance isn't irrational. Putting all your money into something that has only a 1% success is irrational and fucking retarded. Spending all your money on lottery tickets would be one of those stupid ideas.
1. Work for established product company 2. Learn the industry and buzzwords 3. Learn their business flow, from design to production to sales, suppliers and customers. 4. Quit company 5. Start competing company with your knowledge. You'll be too small for them to care. 6. Sell startup to large company trying to get in the industry.
Not really rich as fuck, but go into chemical engineering and work towards bp, Exxon, chevron, or lyondell. I'm interning with one of them and making 70k. Decently good for a 21 year old coming from lower middle class.
Next step for me is to invest safely anyone got any easy-tier investments ideas? Not even looking for a big marginal profit, just low risk low reward so I can learn.
Any poker players on here? I was thinking about getting into online poker again. I used to be really good. Don't see why I wouldn't be able to make a living off of it if I actually tried. Anybody have any REAL success with poker? Like richfag success. Or at least enough to pay the bills, buy nice shit and always have money in your pocket and in savings.
>>555848704 For investments, go with ETF:s. I have 50% in vanguard s&p 500 (exposure to the US market), 50% in Vanguard total international EX-us (worldwide EX-us exposure). Low costs (brokerage fees though, unless you have a vanguard account and get them as funds, so buy less often to minimize those costs), steady return as the worldwide market grows in each sector.
Btw, how did you get a chem eng internship at 21? Did you start college at 16 or smth?
>>555848101 dont say no to free money. you invest the 2k, you come out with 6-8k. sounds good to me. also, you could put those 3ish bitcoin away for a year, and you will have significantly more, as the next bubble will be between 10k-25k in march
>>555848689 Mine was software (aviation software) but it can be any product-based company. Most large companies with established products have stale designs because there's no reason to change if it's already selling. That's where you create a newer/better alternative.
>>555849008 Started at 18. Did nanotech and cancer detection research freshman year at 18 years old. Apparently, the professor I worked with was nationally renowned for his work. Used his reputation to get noticed, now I'm here.
>>555849145 Wrong. I'm 34 years old. I slaved to get to where I am. I staretd off with just 10 acres, then as property became available around me I purchased it. I ran the vineyard myself and I kept expanding upon it.
I grew up with a farming background though. I was a blue collar guy that took a chance. It took close to a decade for it to really pay off.
>>555840328 This totally reminded me of the movie Ice Pirates where they use that machine to turn the men into eunuchs if they had little dicks and the queen didn't want to fuck them. >pic related, good flick
>>555849387 this guy has a point. I remember back when I turned 18 I'd been making tons of money playing poker vs friends & idiots in bars. Then I went to a casino and got cleaned out by the regs in about 30 minutes.
Poker isn't a get rich quick scheme either, it involves strict bankroll management and discipline.
>>555843824 lol anon currently doing this. Going to classes and shit. Don't get me wrong it's cool and shit, but for anyone who wants to do it be prepared to memorize a shit load of acronyms, and other useless stuff. Like no joke I've heard you only use about 10% of the stuff you learn for the test irl on the job.
>write a book in your free time >1 year later contact a semi successful author >let a linguistic student read through your book for 100 bucks >talk with author >be friendly > sell him your book idea for 15k >he buys it >book flops harder than stone
>>555849554 >safety >metals Confirmed for retard. Gold/silver (which I guess you meant) have no inherent value either, they are as useless as a dollar (industrial use is low, the price is based on speculation nowadays), because unless people decide to give it a certain value, it has no value (fiat money works the same way).
>buying index funds at an overvalued market is stupid You don't know if the market is over valued and it doesn't matter over the long run, because the market always grows as more people enter the consumerist ratrace all over the world every day. The whole reason that people invest in stocks is that they are almost (save WW3 happening) guaranteed to give a reasonable ROI in the future.
>>555849387 Well I've turn $0 to $500 in a week after winning a free roll. And I was always a positive player on both pokerstars and full tilt til they banned them. I've had pretty good luck with live games too. I figure if I actually started with a big enough bankroll I could come up with the right bankroll management strategy. I don't need to become a millionaire, but it would be nice to not need a regular job.
>>555850371 >lol anon currently doing this. Going to classes and shit. It used to be worse. When I sat for the CCIE Lab exam I had to configure all the kit you are working now AND SNA, DLSW+, Token Ring, Voice, IPX, and ISDN. (2000)
I get it, that's an old man uphill both ways story, the point is it has gotten a lot better.
>>555850428 >Confirmed for retard. Gold/silver (which I guess you meant) have no inherent value either, they are as useless as a dollar (industrial use is low, the price is based on speculation nowadays), because unless people decide to give it a certain value, it has no value (fiat money works the same way). >Fucking goldbugs.
Nobody is saying "Turn all yr money to gold! The man takin yo dollarz!" That would be silly.
It is reasonable to keep some part of your money in something with intrinsic value. I have stocks. I have gold. I have a farm. I have momma cows. A whole lot of shit has to go wrong for me to have nothing. That's diversification. Compare that to "I bought Coca Cola and Pepsi! I'm diversified."
It's just a % to me. I've gotten a lot better at filtering out the stocks that are obviously not going to help me, even if the chart looks "pretty".
It's really simple stuff once you keep track of patterns for several years. You figure out what causes what, chance of SEC suspension, how much the company is diluting by (just by the amount being dumped per day), etc.
You figure this stuff out sooner or later. Education is never free.
I made $800 on a stock that was definitely a scam. Welcome to trading.
Depends on if the school is franchised or not, but the teachers are well taken care of. Mine was franchised. Take the ESL teacher training at the beginning of your contract, it'll help you be a better teacher. It took me a month to get the hang of teaching. It'll seem overwhelming but only at first, stick with it. You only work Saturday and Sunday and will have more than enough money since the school pays for your housing and utilities.
There was once they tried to make me ride a bike in the snow to hand out flyers. I told them fuck no and paid $1 for the taxi. That was the worst thing about it. Everything else was fine.
My teaching style was very structured, which the Chinese teachers aka your translator will like and so will the kids. Most of the time you learn something, then play a game for them to work on it.
>>555834815 Ok, so everyone knows that once you have a bunch of money, then it's easy to make more money. So what we do is, everyone here gives me all of their money. I wisely invest that money to make it grow, and use loopholes to pay no taxes. After a year, I keep the profits and give the original seed money to the next person in the list to do the same.
Bam. Free money. And all we need is a little communism and a little bit of most of us starving before their turn.
>>555845836 Looking at bicoin trend, the lowest you'll see it is high 400s. If you Ever see it go to mid to low 400s, invest. It's the lowest it'll go, a little higher than the drop after the bitcoin frenzy went cold. That is, if you believe in bitcoin. Look at bitcoin trend chart to confirm
Okay lots of funny ideas that we know aren't practical or smart. Very good work, everyone. Seriously though, he's a thought.
> community college > learn trade (electric, plumbing, welding, whatever) > move to a state with low population > guaranteed employment, minimal competition, low cost of living, ever increasing pay that starts high from the get-go Yeah?
>>555848861 you need all the software and to be able to multi table like at least 8 tables, whilst also playing a table with people doing the same shit. Its all systematic now I think the poker bubble passed.
