It's not only that I'm getting more and more daring (read: stupid). I'm even letting it affect my life. It started as an opportunist thing, but now I'm hanging around subway stations waiting for skirted women/girls, getting behind them in an as stealthy way as possible before they take the escalator (favorite spot if that wasn't already clear). Even getting on a skirted woman/girl's train when the train I'm supposed to take home is the other direction. I was late for work once because of this behavior.

You need to make sure some light hits the lens. Only when it's a thin skirt - and ideally a light colored one as well - will you be able to go completely under the skirt and still be able to capture anything.

Also, the more you do it the better your results will be.

I'm tall so easily noticed and hard to get low enough for good upskirts. One trick I use though is in grocery stores, I put the phone in one of those hadnheld shopping baskets. put some 'groceries' in there with it, noone sees the phone. Then when a girl is looking at something on a shelf, innocently set the basket down behind her so I can 'pick out' some groceries, camera happily recording away. Perfect cover, never been caught.
