It started when i was 15 anon,
i learned to play texas holden and got hooked. i read books and online articles, played everyday throughout high school until i moved up to bigger blinds during my senior year. I had around a 1000$ saved up by then and i played 1/2 blinds at a local private club. i made that 1000 into 20,000 over a span of 2 months. I then deposited into full tilt before the black friday happened. I deposited 10k, made it into 150k before cashing out. I got eexreemlyy lucky that it was before that. I deposited some into mutual funds, and stocks, real estate investment, small businesses, online.

Get a job, save money because you need money to make money. But i do know a Chem degree is pretty rigorous, I'm a summing you can't work and hold up a gpa. I played everyday because poker was something i loved. And i also wanted to make it big. I set a goal for myself as stepping stones. I always had this inner drive, i hated to fail. But i treated every failure i had as more motivation to succeed. One thing that might help you is during my junior year of high school i suffered a near fatal accident, one where i was unconscious for a whole day. Woke up in the hospital and decided that i was going to do everything that i wanted to do, life is too short and i need to place my mark.

I've been working as a teacher for 2 years now.
