gonna go play some DW8, will leave bara on autodump
But I am ill
I personally only really liked 4, 5 (favorite), 6, and 9. The others are I don't like personally. 1-3 each has MAJOR problems that seem Dragon Quest 3 and 4 didn't on the NES. I hate 7's localization and battle system. 8's junction system is a nice idea but it's annoying if you don't know what to do. 10's plot is annoying. 12 feels unfinished (the main writer quit half way making it so that's why). And there's 13...oh 13 no one likes you.
But that's my opinion on the series.
Sorry not shota but god game Yangus is fucking hot.
but good game AND Yangus
Man, I've never even heard of any of those games lol
I dunno, maybe they just didn't get into the series when it was being rolled out. Most of them say they enjoyed the really early Dragon Quest, but then never played the others until much later on and couldn't enjoy them. It could be the style too. Looking at it it doesn't look like it would appeal to me at first glance either.
Personally, and this is just my opinion, but I never liked the Hitman games. Thief was a fucking disaster, that's for sure, but at least Deus Ex doesn't seem to be taking a hit. They should have never developed a stupid mobile game, but I'm looking forward to their next project after how good HR was. I also was never a big fan of the Tomb Raider games either.
It still seems like you enjoyed a bulk of the series, though. Personally I never played many of the games Post-VI in the series until relatively recently. I think X was amazing, but still haven't played many of them. I enjoyed I-III, I and II more than III though.
4 out of 13 is bulk? And one of the key things about Dragon Quest is that it hardly changes. The battle system stays the same. And the plot is barebone so that you are just focus on exploring and adventuring over trying to make sense of an over complicated plot.
They are ps1 games. Totally worth looking for. And I'm not lying. These games are legendary.
I still have a mint console which I got when I was eight in '98, controllers, and a bunch of classic games for it.
I wish I was a 14 year old and be your boyfriend. Maybe I don't know anything and have to come to you for questions that you have to show me to explain things.
monkey boys are the best
I just like boys with cute ears and tails.
No, bunny boys! (wabbit season!)
<<-- You will never be this again
Well from what I gathered it didn't seem like you had some particularly harsh words to say about the others you mentioned except for VII, XI, and XIII. From you saying that VIII's system is nice but annoying if you don't know what to do (which is just an issue of getting used to it, which is true of a lot of games) I didn't really gather that it's unenjoyable. And even if X's plot is annoying I don't see how that would keep you from enjoying it from a gameplay standpoint. That would make 6/9 of the ones you mentioned excluding I-III, but I don't know what major problems you're talking about there. V used III's job system, which was spectacular, and I don't see much of a problem with it. II was extremely unique but had some overworld and saving/exploring mechanic faults that could get you permastuck in a location. I just seemed great to me.
oh god that was awful, what the fuck have they done to the dynasty warriors series?
little brown circumcised muscular boys making mean faces while covered in cum are the best
Haha. I was just looking at my original copy.
Autism happened, that's what
the new tombraider was good, the engine actually made fucking sense there
hitman however was always a sandbox game, the engine simply didnt cater to the hitman style of gameplay, and in addition to that the story was a fucking mess
i wish i was 11 so i could have fun being pedo bait
dw5 was the best, but dw2 and dw3 were also good
>you will never have a gang of 8 officer level bodyguards to help you tag team lu bu again
well, you are
Agreed. DW1 was more of a mortal kombat or street fighter game. Still okay but the button combos are quite intricate and frustrating.
Hmm. If I were that young I would cock tease only the highschool boys. Safer that way
>not baiting those pedos so hard with your underage ass
do you even fun?
1-3 are massively dated and honestly was never really good. 1 tried to outdo Dragon Quest 2 (in the creators own words) and it failed. 2 has a stupid leveling system that I've heard SaGa fixes but never played those. 3 Job system came well after DQ 3 job system and DQ 3 system is a much better system. Since 80% of FF3 job systems were either just upgrades or just plain useless. 4 is fun because it let the plot be stupid and cheesy. 5 is even more and not only that every job was useful in some way. 6's problem for me is there are too many characters. Just simplify it down to 4 or 5. 7 plot is a incoherent mess and I'm not a fan of the meteria system. 8 junction system is annoying for multiple reasons. But one of the main issue is the best way to get the magic you need is the card game and I hate the card game. There's also drawing which is even more annoying. And I hate Squall but not as much as Rinoa. Hell the only character I actually liked was Laguna. 9 was a throwback to a time that I feel they were good. The gameplay was dumb in 10 because they tried to give a feeling of freedom with the Grid System but in reality it was just a linear path. They should have just kept it like FF4 and have you as set characters if you are going to do shit like that.
i miss good video games
I felt underwhelm by the new Tomb Raider. I thought I was doing to need to actually survive like Snake Eater. I mean they set it up where it seem to had to hunt for your food and hide against the enemies. But then it just turned into a normal shooter. Hell the bow was so fucking broken in that game there was no reason to use anything else.
Yes. I'll stick with classics. I've been gaming since 1998 in it's golden era until 01 when it started going downhill into nothing but first-person shooters, vast numbers of letsplay channels, and MineWhateverthefuck games. There aren't any true classics anymore. Just "its a half-assed game. yet it is a popular game so that makes it a classic", you know?
i was dissapointed by the lack of survival mechanics in it, but overall it made for a much better play than absolution
yeah, the boom in business spelled the death of video games
Developers and publishers did alot better with very little money. I hope the future brings a category of games in each genre that aren't as accessible to casual players. I'm just waiting for something aimed at impressing older gamers. They seemed to have forgotten about their original fanbase
tfw naughty dog will never make another crash bandicoot game
That was my main problem. It just turned into any other cover shooter with some nice climbing mechanics. Maybe Rise of the Tomb Raider (Which is a fucking retarded title by the way) will be better. But knowing Squeenix I personally doubt it.
Tfw and Activision and EA are still in business
The old gods have left this place
That's the main problem with AAA. They spend so much to "expand the audience" that it turns into grey tasteless goo. And they need a wider audience because they spend so much fucking money on their games. It's best to have a nice smaller budget so you can target the your people and hopefully have them get their friends to enjoy it too. Just making it more bland so they expand their appeal is what's really wrong right now.
Well just be thankful they are not Rare.
tfw gaming is ruined
While not as evil (I don't think anyone can ever take EA's place of the most evilest gaming company) Ubisoft is slowly going down that route too with Watch Dogs.
because cock feels lovely in your hands
I don't think it's ruined. At least not yet. EA and the other big guys are losing money left and right because of their stupid practices. And soon they will learn or they will be destroyed. Just look at what's happening with Capcom. Soon someone will buy them (I'm hoping for Nintendo but I doubt it) because they didn't know how to fucking budget their games.
theyll still never be half as awesome as naughty dog
I've noticed that in the sequels to Elder Scrolls 3. Perfect example right there. Getting a hoard of kids to use mom's money on shit games instead of sticking to making memorable and immersive art.
Yup. Watch Dogs is bologna. What the heck are they smoking? Trying to appeal to internet culture wannabes or something. Fucked if I know.
ZOMG guys just post in antisocial silence!! Stay uninteresting, pleb
I'm betting they learn nothing and just get handed a billion dollar saving throw
i just want the next deus ex to be good. my heart can't handle another invisible war.
Who Capcom? Capcom was amazing in the 80's and 90's. It was only in the past 10 years or so they went completely stupid. And ran their company into the ground like every other big name company.
itll be shit
they were based, but never crash bandicoot based
Shh. With the exception of throwing coffee mugs at children it mustn't be spoken of.
u better chek urself
Nah. Oh, he saged. Watch out now. This anon means business! He has the power to ban us all!
Continue posting as you please to, guys.
I loved Morrowind to death. Every about it was perfect. But then they "causalized" it. Magic was super limited (don't get me started with fucking Skyrim), smaller versions of swords, and everything else. Just so expand the audience by making it "simpler" and by that I mean stripping nearly everything out to make it easier on everyone.
Don't forget they need 6 million copies of Watch Dogs sold to make even.
No only furries, mlpfags, and trap threads circlejerk. This thread should of 404'd.
This isn't the shota thread I know. I'm glad Genk and the rest of us normal people don't post anymore. You guys ruined everything. Keep posting traps, cubs, Furries and shit.
And nothing of value was lost.
balls balls balls
oh look, its that one faggot who thinks his opinion matters
I remember playing on my NES and enjoying Mega Man. SNES with Breath of Fire 1 and 2 and Final Fight. Crash was fun but I can't think of it as anywhere close to what Capcom made back in the 80's and 90's. But honestly a new Crash game would look wonderful after the dull Sony conference we got at this E3.
crash was the dogs bollocks
We can always make new theards, and more than one. Try to derail 3-5 theards simultaneously, Captain Boreale
That's fine. I just felt it was just a nice plateformer. Nothing big but what it did it did well.
I will never play Watch Dogs.
Also morrowind was cool but you have to admit that the next few games are better because of the NPCs speaking to one another and moving about their daily business. Not to mention the less linear sword play and magic casting. Oh, and horses. They only needed to keep the old magic system and the team that developed Morrowind. Bethesdas curse is they are 'always' changing teams.
Genkou still posts actually
go read the crash bandicoot dev blog they set up, youll be amazed at the shit they pulled off in that game
the normal people who masturbate to shota?
