That is an EXTREMELY good price on that hand gun. They usually run around 599$. Though the trigger is mushy, the metalic rails on the polymer reciever wear out fairly quickly and will have to be replaced. Mags cost 50$ a piece. The sites are so-so at best. The thing is nearly impossible to conceal. The safety flips off for basically no reason. Accuracy is ok, but nothing great. The cheap FNX is KNOWN for having feeding issues. You could have had a S&W M&P 9mm for the same price, which I would have preferred. If it were for Concealed carry a Shield would have been better. I own a FNX-45 Tac and its a great gun in it's element, but the cheapy FNX isnt really that great. Also "superior" kind of depends on its intended purpose.

Other than the threaded barrel, taller sights, and cutout to allow for a optic on the slide there is no difference between the Tactical and the regular FNX-45. You can mix and match parts.

The match barrel has a slightly different feed ramp. It is interchangeable, that doesn't mean it's the same. I know this will sound stupid, but it comes with a really nice case as well. One built specifically to carry a suppressor with it. The majority of the price difference is the match barrel. Also the sites are trittium night sites
