Ever met someone IRL on 4chan? I have. Twice. Erica, and TJ. Both of these people brought sex, drugs, and the cops into my life. These are their stories.
TJ - 2009-2010 I'm 19-20 and on /b/ at an ungodly hour of the night.
I found "if you're in this state, post." Thread. Ctrl-F and boom. There's my area code. Guy lives about 15 min away. We decide to hang out. Say's he's gonna be outside in the street skateboarding. Says I'll know him when I see him. So against my better judgement, I hopped in the truck and took off. I brought some salvia with me too. Idk why.
So there he is. just like he said. His house is a short ways off and we go inside to chill and play video games because It's cold outside. He pulled out a small bubbler bong and offered me some weed which I graciously accepted. I felt I had to reciprocate so I pulled out the salvia. He had never done it before, so I cautioned him it was a hell of a drug. This was a very strong extract too. I stayed sober, as it's the responsible thing to do when someone else is on a hallucinogenic drug.
Well TJ freaks out. He thought the walls were closing in on him. He jumped up off the couch because it was trying to eat him. He came off it about 10min later. He said he was never doing that again. We had a laugh about it and had a few beers. He later told me he almost started swinging at me because he thought the devil sent me to kill him. We became fast friends.
Fast forward a few months. We would hang out occasionally. He comes up to my room one night and he has some oxycodone. I've never abused a prescription drug before, so I'm hesitant. He tells me I just finished my first semester of college, and I earned it. It didn't take any more convincing.
I snorted 15mg while he snorted 30mg. I'll be honest, it was the most amazing high I've ever experienced.

In the following weeks TJ continues to bring oxys to my place and like a good friend, he offers to share his spoils with me. I decline, but thank him for his generosity. They are expensive after all. At the same time I caution him that they are addictive and he should be careful. That is the main reason why I kept turning him down. I liked the high I felt that night. I liked it so much, It scared me. I was right to be cautious.
He ignored my warnings, and before long, He was shooting heroin. He offered me some of that as well. But I knew better than to fuck with that shit. I was content with weed. TJ would do anything to get his fix. This guy was really hooked on the stuff. We drifted apart. You can't trust a junkie. TJ was still my friend, but that wasn't TJ. That was an addict. That kinda shit changes people. I hit him up a few months later. Fortuantly he got into rehab and started getting his life turned around. He relasped a few times though. Last I heard from him, he was on his way to PA to take up a mining job. That was two years ago. I haven't heard from him since. I tried calling him lately. Someone else answered and had no idea who TJ was. I guess he got a new number. TJ, if your reading this. I hope you're doing well. I hope you're happy. I miss those days we spent together. Those were good times.
