Hey guys, just wondering if any of you can read this xray and tell me whether i fractured my kneecap o not. I fell right into my knee while skateboarding last sunday. Is it fucked up?

I've done a bit of osteology, and it sort of looks like the lateral portion of the patella is damaged, i'm no expert though

Radiologyfag here. You don't have a fracture. You have what's called a "bipartite patella" which is a developmental variant and a common mimicker of fracture. The patella doesn't start off as a single piece but as several and sometimes fails to fuse in this location. This appearance is absolutely textbook (do a GIS). You could still have a ligamentous or meniscal injury though. Those are only visible on MRI.
