I want to get into skating again so bad, I skated for years since I was 10 and I stopped at around 19. I still love skateboarding, and every once in a while I hop back on the board.

The feeling of skating around always brings me back, and it feels so good.

Do they still makes decks in a 7.5 or 7.75? Every time I go to a shop there's only 8.0+ and I'm not a fan of those.

I took by bearings out today and 4 of them spin more than the other 4. I feel like it must have something to do either with 2 wheels spinning more (maybe front wheels vs back wheels) or one side of the wheel working the bearing better (exterior facing side vs interior facing side)

I wanted now to place them such that the ones that spin less are in place of the ones that spin more hoping they'll get to the same degree of spinning, but I can't tell where they were initially. Anyone knows what I'm talking about, and perhaps can clarify this thing for me?

Also sounds like the shoes you skated were made out of canvas, canvas is soft material so it rips apart really quick. Suede leather is better for skate because it'll last longer.

I got heelflips in a row today. I think I 'm getting them down. But I don't feel like I thought I would. Is it realisation? That I need to get better? If you start to not get stoked at every achievement, is it the beginning of knowledge? If I made a clean heelflip a year ago I would be stoked out of my mind.
Or maybe it's my gear: maybe I feel that if I had better trucks and griptape it would be worth it. I don't know.
Maybe I now know what Lance Mountain felt when he said that he just got mad after he got down the 540 because it took him so long.
