Post your memories of Hogan turning heel and the nWo.

I cried for a shoot but I loved nWo like a month later

Were you a vitamin mark kid? Were you a WCW kid or a WWF kid who was tuning into WCW because Hogan was there?
>>3155466
I was a pretty big Hogan mark back in the day but I was also a Sting mark. Seeing Hogan turn and have Sting get fucked over in the process really hit me. My dad told me about kayfabe shortly after that and I was able to enjoy the performance again. Now I look back on it as one of the best told stories WCW ever did. It's a shame they fucked it up.

But Sting ALWAYS got fucked. Weren't you used to it by that point?

>My dad told me about kayfabe shortly after that
Wait, what the FUCK is this? Why didn't he let you enjoy it? That's some fucking bullshit. Those were prime kayfabe for your age/peak of wrestling years and he fucking ruined them.
>>3155475
Yeah but he was still my favorite.

Nah he knew I was pretty bummed out about it desu, I do wish I could have been uninitiated and enjoyed kayfabe until it truly died but thinking about it, it was better then as opposed to finding out because of the finger poke of doom or some other lame shit.
>"But who's side is he on"
Kinda took a small shit from that, but it was still awesome

Not this shit again.

W-what are you talking about?!
Ok, the year is '96. I'm poor 13 year old who never got to see a PPV. I'm flipping channels in between games of MK2 on Genesis. Fucking magically, Bash at the beach is on TV. Chalk it up to cable provider mistake, or whatever.
Recently got hardcore back into wrestling. I used to watch shit tier stuff like WCW World Wide weekly. Throw in a VHS and hit record.
Watched it for years afterwards. It blew my mind as pre-internet mark.
