Oh fans will care if they came back as just the regular Hardy boys...for about a few months, then it will become another Dudley Boys situation.

The Broken Hardy's gimmick is why they are relevant today. If they come to WWE with those characters, and, if the stars align and Vince and Co. don't fuck it up, they'll have more longevity.
>>

Vince wouldn’t bury them, their only problem would be the creative freedom and scheduling. I‘m pretty sure they know the politicking stuff happening in the locker room.

new deets via Pro Wrestling Sheet:

>Sources say Hardys did reached an agreement in principle to stay with TNA in December but were consistently given the run around when it was time to sign the actual contract

>Hardys lawyers contacted Impact to say they wanted creative control written into their new contract, something TNA shot down immediately. When mentioned they had other offers, new Impact President Ed Nordholm replied “Well, tell them to go to WWE then”.

>Jeff allegedly ruled out re-signing, Matt kept talks open. Matt was later sent a now two-year contract which included Impact receiving 10% of all profits the Hardys would make outside of TNA. At that point, the Broken One also sent word he would join his brother in leaving the company.

They could easily do it without mentioning TNA.

The Hardyz can just say that in their decade of wandering the wilderness, Matt lost all faith in wrestling, humanity, and himself and because Broken Matt, and Jeff had watched the cult of personality and brand he had built for himself burn and crumble into ass, and walks on as Brother Nero.

It's kind of corny and stupid, but in that fun and cool way that wrestling is always best at. AND it could ultimately set up for angles with Bray and potentially other Wyatts. Or SanIty in NXT.

http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/broken-matt-jeff-hardy-not-signing-impact/

> Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Broken Matt and Jeff Hardy will NOT be signing new deals with Impact Wrestling … and it’s because they felt disrespected during contract talks.

> Sources with direct knowledge tell us the Hardy Boyz agreed to terms on a new deal back in December, but needed a few minor changes, and were simply waiting for the finalized offer.

> We’re told the deal was supposed to be for 1-year in length. Weeks and weeks passed, with Matt constantly checking in, but they were consistently given the run around.

> Eventually Matt and Jeff’s lawyer told Impact Wrestling officials that they wanted a creative control clause in their new deals … which was shot down immediately. One source says their lawyer told Ed Nordholm there was interest from other companies and he responded by saying, “Well, tell them to go to WWE then.”

> This set Jeff Hardy off, who at that point said he was no longer interested in re-signing. Matt continued talks, but when they sent a new contract last week it was now a 2-year deal and terms had been snuck in which stated they’d receive 10% of all his profits outside of Impact.

> Matt’s lawyer said he’d be a fool to sign, so he informed the company he wasn’t interested in doing so — but would still come to the tapings to write off his characters. However, he was told he was crazy to think they’d want him on TV without a contact.

They should have two jobbers in the Hardys gear lose the titles clean to Sandow and Rhodes or whoever TNA has in a squash and then blur their faces from the footage.

>>2311785
I know, but let's look at it from a casual WWE fan's perspective -

You're used to two brothers, tag team specialists, but the creative one was always the stand out, made his own theme music, swanton'd himself off of rooftops and shit, the other guy wore collared shirts and jeans, walked funny, and did literally fuck-all else.

All of a sudden the cool one walks like there's a stick up his ass, his eyes have no iris or pupils, and it looks like someone gave him a lobotomy.
The other one is running around looking like someone left him under one of those hairdresser's hair dryer things, screaming "DELETE" like a total fucking aspberger's patient.

Your reaction? Crickets. Confused silence. visible cringing.

>>
>>2311807
I think you missed my point.

The gimmick will come from nowhere. It was a gimmick built over time in TNA, but you know full well they'll NEVER mention that. Instead, you have something like Husky Harris into Bray Wyatt, except if Husky Harris was over as FUCK and all of a sudden disappeared and was replaced by a bearded man in a tropical shirt raving about Sister Abigail and how he's coming.
>>
>>2311797
dude. When Seth used the word "OBSOLETE" in a promo on RAW in some "mark" city there were DELETE chants. Same when Dudleyz mentioned the Hardys at their fairwell. Broken gimmick is over.
>>
>>2311815
Nobody cares about that. Enzo came out of nowhere, and he's over. I think you're overestimating how many people are still looking fondly at their Hardy Boyz photos with a tear in their eye.

It takes exactly one (1) promo to explain it all anyways.

>>
>>2311935
He still does spot monkey shit.
>>
>>2311935
Understandable, TNA isn't that well known anymore like it used to be. They barely get an audience and when they do most of them are bored and on their phones.

Jeff still does top rope spots pretty often for being so old and having so many injuries. But he barely does wrestle and that's why he's able to do so much. If he comes to WWE it'll be more taxing on his body to perform like Seth does for example. I just get the feeling he's on something and that's what's keeping him going at Impact.

They'll make SD or Raw eventually, but Meekman will refuse them first. It'll be HHH getting them in the back door through NXT for a couple of matches before they go up to the main roster.

If that happens they might just rehash the Decay angle with Sanity, but what I'd like to see is Sanity gathering around a leader figure in Willow for a few weeks, who Matt has to re-break and get Jeff onside again before they go to SD for a Wyatt feud.

I saw them live in december and they're fat now.

They're fucking 40, Matt had been out of shape since 2010, it was even part of his gimmick in RoH.
>>
>>2315204
more talented? maybe a bigger name/draw? you must be avin a laff
>>

I have a bunch of friends who watch nothing but WWE, and even they know The Broken Hardyz, thanks to social media.
>>
I'd be happy to see broken fatt hardy saving the cruiserweight division. Truth is that even if midd cardy is the most entertaining guy in the roster, he is never getting to the main event
>>
>>2315371
Nor he should. Miz proves it's much better to be a great midcarder than a failed main eventer.
>>
>>2315196
Yeah the Hardy's can actually work a wrestling match. Something Bill has never been able to do.
>>
Jarrett just tweeted his goodbyes.

its ogre

Bully Ray was a piece of shit gimmick no one has ever given one fuck about. There's your difference.
>>

What exactly is a flying shit?
>>
So how fucked is TNA? Not so much that they lost their top draws, but because their your head honcho doesn't seem to understand how much they fucked up by losing their top draws.
>>
>>2315693

Isn't TNA kind of a rebound-service for future endeavored WWE stars anyway these days?

They can experiment with stuff that WWE won't dare trying, so Iäm sure they'll come up with something.
>>
>>2315693
It seems like TNA was going to die at least 10 times. They seem to have some weird voodoo curse that keeps them alive.
>>
>>2315727
To be fair a lot of that was probably because Dixie's billionaire daddy kept throwing money at her pet project to keep her from fucking up the actual family business. It was a get out of jail free card. Under new ownership, Papa Carter won't be bailing TNA out anymore and once it dies, it dies for real this time.

lol what casuals? Everybody in the crowd is a smark to some degree, even the fucking kids. Look at wrasslin youtube vids featuring the broken hardys gimmick, few 100k to millions of views. Most wrasslin fans know about the gimmick, and the ones that don't will still chant along since everybody loves to chant these days
>>
>>2314749
Every casual fans that are kids wants to be smarks nowadays, just look at the youtube comment section of WWE.
>>
WHAT IS DESTABILIZED MATT HARDY DOING ON RAW IS NICKELODEON?????
>>
>>2311818
Are you retarded? Enzo wasn't over in WWE under a different gimmick beforehand. That's his fucking point.
>>
>>2312216
No, the Drake and Josh character is Crazy Steve. We are talking about Crazzy Steve.
