>>2233607
Yes
yeah
really makes you feel stuff
>>2233607
Yeah its good. Recommended.
>>2233607
not bad
>>2233607
Yes
worth watching once
>>2233607
Depends on your age for how good you'll think it is, don't think younger people appreciate how horribly real it is
>>2233607
nah it finna tried to expose the business but based vince buried that jobber rourketty at finna wm 25
who is the wrestler based off of? savage? hogan?
>>2233859
Jake Roberts maybe.
Very good movie
You can see Cesaro and R-truth
Trash.
>>2233607
It's a typical Darren Aronofsky movie, where either the camera cuts or soundtrack is more over than the movie itself. Requiem for a Dream was over because of Lux Aeterna and based jew goddess pussy not the movie
>>2233607
Legitimately one of my favorite 5 movies ever.
Mickey Rourke put on the best acting performance I have ever see. Of course he lost to Harvey "Milk", but the fact that in Hollywood he beat out a guy playing a fag HIV ridden mayor for a lot of awards and just narrowly lost the Oscar should tell you how great it was.
>>2233878
Nope Jake Roberts live is way worst.
>>2233898
And The Necro Butcher! And Nigel McGuiness!
>>2233859
Jerry Lynn
>>2233607
Easily the best fictional movie about pro wrestling. Also, Marisa Tomei plays a stripper.
This movie is real life nigga like Mickey Rourke finna be a Renaissance man he can do drugs and wrassle and lose jobs and his daughter hates him.
>>2233859
Not any one wrestler in particular, just what happens to them when they old.
>>2233898
and Jay Lethal made it to Hollywood before Phil
Very good, many many excruciating feels. If you've ever dreamed about being a wrestler watch this first and see if you still want to do it afterwards .
>>2233941
Roberts likely mentioned since beyond the mat was an inspiration for it
>>2233607
It's so good it made men like Roddy Piper cry.
And it was backed by WWE to its fullest support despite the fact the movie is showcasing wrestlers from the 80s as hardcore drug addicts. Which is mostly true.
It also features a lot of familiar indie faces like Cesaro and Jay Lethal for a minute or two
It's essential Wrestlingcore cinema
>>2236822
Dunno why WWE doesn't capitalize on this feel bad stories with their own movie company, hell, a lot of wrestlers lives are movie worthy, wouldn't fucking love to watch a Dusty movie
>>2236822
>Roddy Piper
>Good man
that cuck killed himself cause Stone Cold used his star power to get his podcast shut down
>>2236881
Stevetty was insecure enough to get a podcast shut down because of a light hearted impression, very sad
>>2233607
Its kinda depressing but he fucked a hot 20 yo at age 50 while im still a virgin at 20
>>2233607
I liked it.
didn't hogan say he was offered the part of randy the ram before rourke got the part?
>>2236881
That post doesn't even say Piper was a good man. Reread it.
Based Big Match Ayatollah carrying Rametty to a 3* match
>>2233607
It's pretty good. I liked it for the cameos and real life promotions like ROH and CZW being used as sets.
>>2237135
Hogan says fucking everything
>>2236940
>20 yo
she looked at least 27/28 but i see your point
>>2237135
Nicholas Cage was offered the part too, suggested Rourke instead
It's directed by Darren Aronofsky who did Requiem for a Dream and Black Swan, course it's good.
The part where the old wrestlers are in the bingo hall singing memorabilia is really sad man, fucking camera cuts
>>2233637
>not wanting to watch to fap to Tomei tits.
>>2238330
Yeah that hit me hard
>>2236854
I'd watch the shit out of a jake roberts movie
>>2238396
Get Netflix then
>>2238422
i've seen the doc, i'm talking about an early years to middle age movie of Jakes career
>>2237135
Hogan also said he was offered to be Metallica's bassist before Cliff Burton
Based RAM drew more dimes than the undercarder even when he was an indie darling all his career
