ITT we describe WCW in 3 words
Things on poles
WCW is one of those things where even if it 'did' win the war, it would only keep itself on life support for a few years longer. It would've inevitably died, probably completely, without WWF being there to buy it out and pick it up.
I completely disagree, had WCW secured a TV deal it would have kept going no problem. The only reason it got bought out was because it got cut from Turners network.
WCW had the better roster, better wrestling, better everything. I can watch Attitude era WCW and not be embarressed like I am watching what I thought was cool when I was a kid watching WWF. I grew up watching both, wrong side lost. It's the cold war all over again
Of course I have. I enjoy Russo/Bischoff's booking.
Hogan is the worst aspect but compare it to todays WWE. It's as entertaining with as much focus on wrestling. Had they got a new network they'd be out of the PG shtick and sorted.
THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE
Same here. I got into wrestling in 1996 right about when the NWO started. I was 12. Shit was awesome! Turn to total crap about 3 years later. But 1996-1998 WCW was fucking exciting! Despite all it's incredibly dumb shit.
