Thread Topic: Why did you go and RUIN /asg/ chat?
Daily reminder I'm better than all you faggots.
: ^ )
Why, not even the real one has recoil.
This shitposting, son of an Italian singlehandledly saved /asg/ and basically, you are just fucking stupid.
Click here to find out how.
reminder that the new chat was set up by Germanbro because the /asg/ discord admin would rather deal with his moderating than his autism.
Then he got pissy about having to share moderator with somebody he didn't like and had a tantrum when he couldn't provide evidence of people not liking the other mods. He then decided to make a new discord as a hug-box for himself and anybody who wished to join him
join both discords and try them out for yourself, don't listen to me I could be anyboy. [spoiler]even germanbro[/spoilersdontworkonasp[/spoiler]
Nice damage control for your silly shit communities
>people have such unfulfilling lives they have to have power trips and fight over controlling a 4chan toy guns chatroom
>asg is the only place my autristic love of militaria is accepted
>community is tearing itself apart
>tfw this is exactly what happens all the time in the local community and others I know of.
>someone gets pissy on the website because elitist fags
>makes a Facebook group
>Group grows, someone else gets pissy
>They make another group
>Few months by, dozen of groups for one small area, most end up being spammed with [WTB] [WTS] posts
>Nobody plays public anymore
>All teams are faggots that demand you switch to their favourite platform and wear their shitty camo if you want to play with them
Airsofters are cunts everywhere it seems.
Dohoho, I think I might go back just watch the autism again.
holy shit who fucking cares
doomed has helped me with shit
the other guy has helped me with shit
you're all autists
just fucking blow each other and call it even
Depends if you are willing to sacrifice realism. If yeah, then the Tokyo Marui ones are pretty solid. If you want something with shells and shit you're probably limited to Dan Wessons which have horrible accuracy and/or power and you probably won't like to lose shells, so it's not like reloading won't be awkward.
They're pretty fun, though. Best type of replica you can have for plinking and fucking around.
Are the pictures mirrored or is that a legitimate left handed AK?
reminder to not get chinkshit goggles for airshitting, everyone
Post your /asg/ injuries.
Rolled ankles, cuts, breaks, chips, fractures.
Tell me about any injuries you have sustained while operating.
Broke my talus and 2 metatarsals. 2 weeks off of work though. Also r8 what I got in the mail.
The peanut on that huge pile of turd.
The reason why the systema sounds so screechy is because you can't shim the pinion to bevel; also from what I remember, it uses a 20:1 gear ratio rather, then a preferred 10:1.
The peq16 have a white light built in to the unit it self, for some dumb reason along with ir, vis and a ir illuminator.
If you know any thing then you would know the dbal a3 is a peq15 "wannabe" with a metal housing and a better ir illuminator.
>No tech experience
Also you better get more pinion gears those like to break.
It's a 16 wannabe because it looks like a fucking brick. IR illuminator is irrelevant when the box breaks every 2 seconds. I've seen so many A2s shit the bed from people I run with, I don't even want to try an A3. It's a placeholder until my loltotallynotstolen LA-5 gets to me. Fucking arfcom. LA-5's illuminators are more than sufficient.
>It's a 16 wannabe because it looks like a fucking brick.
Nothing like the 16 in shape, but sure.
>IR illuminator is irrelevant when the box breaks every 2 seconds. I've seen so many A2s shit the bed from people I run with, I don't even want to try an A3.
Post source on these claims, I'm interested.
>It's a placeholder until my loltotallynotstolen LA-5 gets to me. Fucking arfcom. LA-5's illuminators are more than sufficient.
Good luck, last I heard any milspec peq15 or la5 being caught is a felony. If you live in the US, you must really love airsoft in order to run the risk of getting a felony.
If I wasn't on this board I'd agree wholeheartedly
I just rip the labels off and claim i thought it was a C model. Or just don't actually tell people it's real.
There is a very good thread on the ancient M4carbine.net about the pros and cons of both from a lot of people, including mil and LE people.
Mainly personal preference and meme spewing.
DBALs are fine, but liek I said I've seen two break from two people, one was a battery going poof and the other was just being unable to zero the laser. I'll be honest peq-15s eat batteries like a motherfucker though.
Oh god the description is just awful.
>" Very tactical rifle with RIS front rail and CRANE stock. Flip up front and rear sights with flat top rail for mounting additional optics. This gun is LOADED with goodies as you can see from the long list below. One of our most popular models! "

I will provide no proofs because you guys will say otherwise
Remember, if it works and helps you then it doesn't matter what people have to say
>I will provide no proofs
So I've got a Knights Armament SR-16 and for some reason it isnt feeding bb's with every shot even on semi auto. am i doing something wrong? i am quite new to airsoft, its my first gun. I'm using the magazine that came with it.
and some supposed "match grade" .20g bb's from game face
Too many cuts and bruises and welts to even bother counting. Notable moments include falling out of a second story window and landing on my back. The ground was soft so I was okay.
Jumping off of a tall awning in an attempt to escape the stormed building. Fucked up my roll and biffed my barrel into the ground and subsequently the buttstock into the bottom of my ribcage. That one fucked me up.
found a ladder in the woods and used it to get to a high branch tree. Guy caught me trying to climb up there so i jumped off the ladder and tried to land in cover. Ladder was uneven so it just fell sideways while i fell straight down.
Storming building and running like a maniac through the building. Round a corner and have a pistol barrel pointed right at my adams apple. BANG.
So how will I find those if I want something that won't shit itself in a couple hundred shots and when it does I can still Mancraft it?
They seem up my alley and I don't really intend to become a PRO SNIPER, just a BASR in the collection for the variety and maybe some scouting games and a reason to use a sidearm.
They are just a huge money sink, and not worth the experience you get. You build a great rifle and then will proceed to watch even honest players not call hits. If you want to shoot distance just invest in good BBS, TBB, and hop up.
Hey hey hey
Look what came in the mail today
E&L AKS-74u (Threw in a tantal midcap because fuck it why not?)
weight is for accuracy
.12 should never be used
.20 is for gauging FPS and indoor CQB fields
.25s are for use with the average outdoor field as they will not be bullied by the wind as easy but isn't too heavy to the point that you'll need a stronger spring to compensate like with heavier BBs
.30s and .40s are for upgraded DMR and Sniper builds where you are gonna be takin guys out at long range and your internals have upgrades up the ass
It won't change the jamming because it's purely just different weight, but on the side you really should be using .25 gram bbs and not .20s
Especially gameface, mostly anything from them is generally terrible and especially their bbs
Taking apart my cm038
Got the top handguard off
Can't get it back on, it's "too big" to fit in it's slot.
I've basically reverse-Austin-Powers'd it, I can put the front in, but the back doesn't fit, or I can put the back in, and the front doens't fit.
I can't find any take downs of my rifle online, and I'm running out of options.
I can't force any of the rifle back or fourth, there is no movement/wiggle-room.
You're supposed to put the handguard piece on before you install the entire part. You twist it onto the metal pieces. It's a bitch and you may even need to shave it a bit, but it will work out. Look up a guide online if I'm not being clear enough, but I've done multiple handguard transfers and its done before installing full piece into the gun.
>You're supposed to put the handguard piece on before you install the entire part
i didn't install anything
I just took the handguard off
>Try putting the front lip in first instead of the rear
yeah, that pic was purely for demonstration, I've tried that
I've also removed the lever completely
the plan right now is to remove the jamming rod (somehow, there's a metal nub in the way?) and then unscrew the alan key, not sure what to do from there.
Pictured - the nub blocking the cleaning rod
>claims without evidence
what optics for a VSS?
Don't like PSOs because they're offset from the bore.
>kit somehow ends up having like 200 different velcro spots for patches
>don't want to put on morale patches
>don't want to put on team patches because i'm not apart of one
Am I autistic if I put on vidya faction patches?
If its subtle I think its fine
I have one of these patches and I'm tempted on putting velcro on it.
As dumb as that feature was and as quickly as KRISS phased it out, this is actually the one platform it would actually make sense to put it on because it wouldn't get rattled to death by actual recoil.
Ohh I never kept current on Vector production, I never realized they phased out that feature in later revisions. When I saw the prototype AEG and noticed it didn't have the mount I figured it was just not important to the prototype. TIL, thanks.
>room clearing with team
>one of the kids gets shot in his hands
>drops gun and starts crying
>has to be taken home
Why the fuck do you even bring them?
Why don't you have top of the line tactical gear, /asg/?
A lot of "top of the line" isn't in use and I like to recreate actual kits. In most cases the best stuff that militaries actually use is just too hard to source or too expensive, so it falls to repro's of certain items that are close enough. When I'm caked up I'm down to score the good stuff but as a college student its just not possible most of the time.
I'm not even that fucking guy but
>Claims without proof
Eh I was thinking it wouldn't be that bad.
Remove stock and place with a flat pad using existing mount, make sure it covers motor
remove pistol grip and trigger
Grind down a lower handguard and mount pistol grip, rewire trigger
Devise some simple raised iron sights/get an optic raiser
It could really be done with just wood/plastic stock and some simple tools
>plays a game
>doesn't want to take it seriously
Do you dress up in all your gear when you play your favorite fps game too? Seeing as how you're pretending to be a billy bad ass operator too?
The point of airsoft is to have all the fun of combat, without all the sucky parts.
>>plays a game

Fun of combat.
Has there been any news on the bullpup SR AK kit?
>watch video on gun
>comments are nothing but " OMG I REMEMBER THAT GUN FROM [insert video game here]!!!!! "
Did anyone try using confetti/paper scraps in their 40mm grenades like XMPB4?
People here are pretty bitchy so I don't want to use baby powder or pellets in CQB, I've been thinking of using confetti at some pressure that will give a nice bang but won't propel the rubber plug at supersonic speed too.
That's how you do it. My plan if I get a printer is going to be making a BR-55. simple, easy to find a scope fore, but definitely going to stand out
That I do. I mostly use those for forest games with a GL-06 and NERF rockets or other foam projectiles, but I have a S-Thunder pistol so I might as well use it in CQB for "silent" kills or stupid fun with confetti. I will probably carry a duct tape like you mentioned, I won't run out of plugs that way, too.
M120 isn't that hard if you have the right combination of parts.
If your 13:1 gears are quality gears made out of steel then yes, they will hold with no problems. Wear is going to occur in some other parts most likely.
It's good to have piston with full metal teeth or at least the "partial teeth" type, otherwise that's going to wear out fast. Even faster if you like to fire full auto all the time instead of semi.
Recommended to check your shimming well. Good shimming keeps parts alive longer, especially with 13:1 gears.
Also, if you don't have a mosfet, I'd recommend to get one at this point.
>Do you dress up in all your gear when you play your favorite fps game too?
The point of playing airsoft is that it's more realistic compared to paintball.
It's like playing Arma 3 over Call Of Duty and then not caring about realism, to the point of trying to belittle others for trying to play it realistically because " it's just a game brah ".
Yeah, it's a game, but you're supposed to take it seriously and play realistically, that's why this game exists compared to Battlefield or Call Of Duty.
Yeah, it's toy guns but the point is that it's more realistic compared to a paintball. You're supposed to embrace the autism of it all, there's a reason it's a toy gun, not a paintball marker. The point is that it IS toy guns.
If you don't want to have the realistic aspect of it, or go out of your way to avoid it you're completely missing the point of playing it.
All I'm trying to say is that you can do what you want, I get it if you just don't give a shit one day and don't wear gear or something. You're just doing it for all the wrong reasons.
>Seeing as how you're pretending to be a billy bad ass operator too?
If there is a time where I want to be immersed in Call of Duty there are methods of getting to that point ingame.
i may be a little high rn but i can't be the only one here who hears this guy's autistic little nerdy lisp, right?
>saving up money for HK416
>now see VFC makes a MK18 build
>has Colt rollmarks
I really like the look of the MK18 but I really don't want the fucking Colt rollmarks
>.t future avatarfag
Yes, you can avatarfag with a gun. Suprise!
>A bastard cooked one and threw it right at my face in a game
Holy kek I wanna do that to someone
Right eye dominant, but I have bad astigmatism in my left eye that's only somewhat corrected through my contacts. The two eye images combine better for me when I wear on right side.
Don't own a balaclava because it makes me all steamy.
Got a cut down steel mesh mask to cover only the mouth area, so that wont censor shit even if I wanted to dig it out from the bottom of my gear box.
Have one with about 30% less faggotry for the "gear folder"kids.
>Don't own a balaclava because it makes me all steamy.
Don't have it cover your nose, and the steelmouth prevents it from fogging in the mouth area.
Holy shit have you never tried this before? You need to pick up some kind of cheap $2 face mask or balaclava off ebay right now and experience the good life.
I have in the past, and I prefer my setup now.
That's about the extent of my argument, just not a huge fan of it.
Something else I want to add in the sweet grasp of semi-consciousness.
Standard operating procedure for right handed use is to run with the nod on the left eye, so you see your red dot with your right eye.
Normal "low" light, the images overlay and the dot stays consistent as long as you have some visibility with the non-nod eye. However, if there's no/little visibility your brain can't "landmark" and it makes it difficult to aim and overlay the two images correctly. The dot may drift or be "untrue' when your brain tries to combine the images.
Both do, just buy a decent replacement piston like an SHS lightweight, make sure the metal rails are glued in correctly, and forget about it.
>I own this thing
>>WHERE ARE PROOFS OF THING
>Here is a photo of that thing
>>STOP BEING AN AVATARFAG
It's a vicious cycle.
Not personally but it is possible to cause relatively low level hearing damage with them. It's a lot worse indoors of course. If this happened to you indoors you might be enjoying a little more serious damage.
Is a tan backpack and an OD green plate carrier a viable option? It's the only vest I have atm and I don't want to spend more money in the future to get another backpack/hydration pack just for it to go with the tournament loadout(that I will buy in the future) my club currently uses(tan vest + multicam, but we might change the camo soon)
is such a shitty rule, because it only affects one autismo
>you shouldn't need sound protection in a game.
it's generally expected when airsoft being played with pyrotechnic is common in the rest of the world
>blank firing grenades
>blank firing guns
>actual cannons (russian airsofting)
>(for the past few years) thunder Bs, being a semi-affordable sound device
granted I don't play with ear pro because in my field no one runs sound grenades, and only I did (once), but I plan on getting ear pro soon
>mods now BTFOing newfags who can't make new threads properly
What I don't get is that he does it to everything, including run of the mill shit. If it's something like an Asahi M40 then yeah I'd call bullshit, but who the fuck cares about a WE Hi-Capa or a CYMA CM.040?
It's like /o/ telling someone to post a picture of bread on their hood for saying they own a Civic.
>mfw my friend wants to buy it
sure go ahead
You vs the girl he told you not to worry about
That's what I'm planning to build next. The issue is trying to find official SWAT gear. Not an easy task
Here's some early 2000s stuff from a now defunct website.
The best part is that the airsoft scene in central Florida was more or less the same until about a couple of years ago.
Velcro snaps, PALS webbing, and ALICE clips.
Nope, think more like the FLC vest when it comes to PALS. This ain't none of that high speed low drag shit, boy.
As for the BDUS, just get basic black or OD Rothco/Propper BDUs. If you want woodies, just get USGI ones since they're stupid cheap and have an more authentic look that modern commercial made ones.
The sort of thing I'm going for is classic idea of SWAT like http://previews.123rf.com/images/zabelin/zabelin1402/zabelin140200107/26226814-Special-weapons-and-tactics-SWAT-team-officer-with-his-gun-Stock-Photo.jpg
Furthermore, how well would an LR-300 fit into this? I've been looking for an excuse to get one
Get this then.
An LR300 would be kind of weird if we're talking about late 90s to early 2000s SWAT. They primarily used MP5s, flat top M4s, and A1 or A2 carbines.
KSC (The Japanese domestic version of KWA) revised their gas blowback system to a new one called "System 7" some time around the late 2000s; The KWA version was called NS2.
If it's S7/NS2, it means you'll have a much easier time finding parts and magazines.
The magazine looks thicker, and the feed lips are set farther in so I'd bargain that it's NS2. Can't say for sure though, so maybe ask the guy selling it.
definitely looks like a big thick ol NS2 mag then
