I don't know shit about hip replacements or surgery for that matter, i am just a dumb 19 year old. But couldnt he have done that full hip replacement surgery when Brock beat him and then skip 31 and return for Battleground? Or hell, wouldn't a year between Manias be enough? Will he even be able to wrestle with a new hip or is that operation/surgery a definitive end for his career?
a year is way more time than needed
6 weeks and you'll be walking unassisted then another 6-8 for full motions

you dont get a new hip so you can fuck it up again

It is if you're 52 years old

He fucked up his old hip by years of basketball and then wrestling. Why would he fuck up his new one by wrestling a lighter style 20 min a year?

He got the surgery in October, so I think he was just on the edge of this at the Rumble.
So, he'll probably be notably better by Mania.

He had a hip surgery but it wasnt a full hip replacement, he still has to get that, i think the pain with his old one that he has now will not go away. Why the fuck he never had that surgery in the past 6 years is beyond me.

I dunno man, Mick did the same thing, just walking around in excruciating pain all this time because why not. Wrestlers are fuckin' crazy.
