On the latest WOR Meltzer said Vince will never see Ambrose as a #1 guy unless it's absolutely necessary and there are no other options
His reign was his chance to prove himself but he didn't "knock it out of the park"
>>2220046
Good.
I think the podcast proved he didnt have top guy mentality.
>>2220046
Dude is less exciting than Miz and this is coming from someone who had high hopes of him becoming the next Austin
>Im Vince's favorite"
what did dean "2kool4skool" ambrose mean by this at SCSA podcast?
>Roman gets 64324324234 chances, blews them all up epically
Vince: well, one more chance really
>Deanetty gets 1 chance, doesn't go great, but not as bad as Roman or Seth.
Vince: never again.
The state of the OldMan
>>2220070
People actually get passionate about Roman while booing him
Dean had zero pops and was a complete snoozefest during his run
Eh, he said it more like, they view Dean as a solid #2 babyface, as a guy who can step in in a situation where the top guy isn't available, but guys like that almost never elevate to the top permanently unless they knock it out of the park, and Dean did well but didn't knock it out of the park.
He also emphasized that Dean is the kind of guy who has a "window" and WWE missed that window. At this point, the missed opportunities are too much.
It does kinda suck. It's not really Dean's fault they waited until his window had closed to give him a real chance.
>>2220072
People were extremely passionate about Dean for a while and WWE did nothing with him then.
>>2220053
We could see him literally killing his career. It was such a guilty pleasure
>>2220046
If you know Deans life and upbringing he's the type of guy that's just happy to be in the WWE and making a good living and doesn't really care about titles
desu Roman did me a big favor by injecting Adderal into his ass of whatever, because Money in the Bank is probably the most fun I had watching wrestling last year.
>>2220046
Kinda of a bummer to hear, but at least he's getting a steady paycheck and not having to torture himself in the outlaws for a hotdog and soda for payment.
He's also banging Renee so it can't be all that bad.
dean had the shittiest reign of all time

worst matches of all time
the stone cold podcast
stopped lifting
>>2220046
but isn't this kind of good? the whole card should be filled with good workers not just the top 4 or 5 people. and hasn't Dean been one of the guys who constantly works house shows and signings?
>>2220132
Yes, he's the hardest worker in the company. Wrestles like 300 matches a year.
>>2220059
Agreed. I don't know if he was booked to shit or if he just doesn't really care, but he is a shell of the man he was at the peak of the Shield.
>>2220064
Vince liked him until he crashed the ratings.
>>2220138
I went and looked and I was off by a bit. 213 matches in 2015, 181 in 2016.
>>2220059
>next Austin
You are a fucking retard. There is no next Austin and even if there were, it would never be the Lunatic Cringe
>>2220141
more like until he crashed the house show attendances
>>2220046
he needs to turn heel and stop doing goofy shit.
>>2220153
>There is no next Austin
I beg to differ, kid
>>2220159
No way, he's the best babyface in the company once Cena retires.
>>2220074
Dean's window was 2014, then a little bit in '15. But they never pulled the trigger and when they did it was far too late.
>>2220177
>Naito
Literally who?
>>2220083
This. Ambrose and Rollins are polar opposites in this regard.
>>2220168
>Dean goes over at Survivor Series '15
>Roman turns heel and goes after him
>Dean vs. Roman in the main event of WrestleMania 32
They coulda done it.
>>2220160
I like this guy. Looked good when he was fighting Undertaker.
>>2220108
>Implying he's banging her
Top fucking Kek!
>>2220072
>Dean had zero pops
That's a lie, and you know it.
>>2220046
He's always the B+ player
But at least he's not an abject failure like Jasethy
Meanwhile Roman worked smarks into a shoot and made them seething
>>2220222
SO CLOSE
>>2220074
Right. WWE missed the window way more than he messed up. He was white hot at the beginning of 2016 and him winning against HHH would have set Wrestlemania ablaze. Reigns vs Dean would have been must watch, write itself type stuff. Does anyone really care about haitch matches at this point?
Meanwhile, Randy Orton just won his second Royal Rumble and will win his umpteenth world title.
>>2220235
Randy is far more interesting in the ring than Dean could ever be.
Randy has the look of someone who has presence, something that Dean lacks.
Dean didnt kill ratings lol. Back when seth had the title, he helped ratings with their 2 month title program.
It also doesn't help they didnt let him win a match for years.
Based Vince working deanetty
dean living in the mid card pop free.
based
>>2220177
>Naito
who?
Daily reminder that Dean-O was chosen as THE GUY of the Shield when Jasethy and Rommetty had to lay down for him right before the brand split
>>2220286
Austin was 33 in '97.
>>2220229
I cared about Seth/HHH. Then Samoa Joe showed up. Now I kinda don't care about Seth/HHH anymore.
>>2220300
because at the time he was the only one of the three who could speak on the mic
YA SEE SEFF YOU'RE AN ABJECT FAILURE, YA SPIT IN MY FACE
DEAN YOU'RE A MIDCARDER DAMMIT
>>2220229
Shield triple threat for title is such a fucking no brainer mania main event, that should be what they were building up to ever since the break up...
Dean will always be first substitute whenever Reigns, AJ, Cena or even Rollins shit their pants and can't come to work. He'll never be The Guy but he's going to have a solid WWE career for life.
>>2220229
No one cares about Ambrose with wacky lines matches as well
>>2220046
Who is the superior wrestler. Dean or Del Rio?
>>2220414
Del rio hands down no contest
>>2220046
He will comfortably settle into the Mick Foley role and there is nothing wrong with that.
>>2220447
Social justice warrior and rapist? Can't wait for his shitty TNA run too
>>2220461
>waiter, take this meme back it's gone stale
>>2220160
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WAIT WHAT HAHAHAHAHA SAY IT AGAIN PLEASE I THOUGHT I HAD SOMETHING CRAZY IN MY EAR AHAHAHAHAH
Have fun being wrong when based dean is burying cena and anyone else for the big strap with ONE dirty deeds. The b+ player not le guy meme is meaningless anyway. Apparently no one is a draw according to this shit post infested board.
>>2220046
maybe if he were a big guy
but he doesnt lift so he will never be a top guy
>>2220108
wtf that pic
>>2220160
The only thing he and Austin share are hairlines.
>>2220072
>People actually get passionate about Roman while booing him
They leave the building.
''Passionate''.
That amount of twisted logic to defend a flop.
>>2220243
>Randy has the look of someone who has presence,
>Looks darws, we are still in the 80s after all.
Hello delusional Vince, Randy, as much as I like him, never drew a dime.
>>2220046
If this is the case then they should stop this face run, and try to double back to his heel persona.
>>2220108
Is that his skull?
>>2220872
the blade was gimmicked, its just rubber
>>2220153
>There is no next Austin
Thank fucking Christ.
This is the first time i agree with dave "the frustrated wrestler" memeltzer, deanetty should go back to those reddit edgy bingo halls
>>2220153
>There is no next Austin
Braun
>>2220786
Looks do draw, wtf are you talking about
>>2220962
t. neckbeard smark
He lost all credibility with me after the Austin podcast.
No way is he top guy material.
>>2220177
BASED
He does exemplify some of the things that made Austin cool, like his disdain for authority and doing things his own way. Hopefully his knees hold up.
I don't understand why they bought him in at all. Moxley was renowned for cutting unique and outstanding promos before being brought in. Other than that he was just your average indie wrestler who was one step above yard tard status. You'd think he'd at least be cutting those same great promos. What's his appeal?
>>2220337
They wasted that on a throwaway PPV before the brand split so it had no lasting impact.
>>2220498
ur gonna get banned for caps son. just a warning.
>>2220979
Awful post
>>2220070
No, you're not really getting it.
Roman will get an infinite amount of chances, but that's not an infinite amount of chances to get over, because honestly the reaction he gets from the audience is pretty irrelevant. Roman consistently puts on good matches and the storylines he's in are worth watching (At least in my eyes). Ambrose has never had that appeal.
>>2220153
yes, wrestler nowadays aren't alcoholic wifebeaters. i'm glad there will never be a second white trash no talented redneck as the face of a company.
Dean is by far the most entertaining shield member
Roman and Seth bore me to death
>>2220072
>zero pops
Fuck off romark
I swear it's like one guy on this board who shits on dean in order to make people like the mighty poodle
