>3/10
at least it was better than the 2015 royal rumble
0/10
No surprises
A bunch of part time fossils making the main card guys look like geeks
Roman Reigns
WOAT
>>2215868
I'd say it was almost just as bad.. but in a different way.
they fucking sucked the hype out of it.
one of my least favorite parts was them telling us when Sami was coming in.
Putting the big 4 as the last 4...
the way they were all eliminated..
the winner..
extremely disappointed compared to how excited i was
guys what would've happened if a raw guy had won the rumble?
would the universal title be in the main event?
5/10
Big Guys Rumble. The rest of the roster were just some geeks. Happy for that young upstart Randy Orton to get his moment in the spotlight though.
>>2215868
8/10
Pretty excited for what's to come
>>2215878
>A bunch of part time fossils making the main card guys look like geeks
They are geeks though, that's why Vince has to keep bringing back part timers who are actually draws
4/10
The first third was actually good and well booked.
>>2215919
so, was it actually a draw?
The rr match itself was a 7, the finish lacked oomph but overall pretty good. I was disappointed with kalisto, henry, xavier, enzo, and mojo getting in, but oh well.
The ppv was a 9. AJ Cena and Owens reigns were good enough to overshadow how average the women and cruiserweights were
7/10
Thank fuck a part-timer didn't win it.
Meh winner though.
>>2215932
I understand the rest but Henry is 8/10 pretty good
I'm actually surprised at how right on you are, OP. (Or at least how aligned we are)
3/10, it had some fun spots but it was mostly a mess of poor booking and bad execution. 2015 was much worse.
the match wasn't thaaat bad, people rate it low because randy won and the fossils were a deception.
6/10, I really hope we don't see Cena and Orton feud for the 46 time
>>2215963
ah, i actually wasnt happy through that entire match..
only felt like we had one pay pff, which was brock kicking ass for 1 min.
everything else was messy.
Real shitty the order they out them in.
just felt the match had a fuck ton of potential and they used none of it.
I dont even like Strowman, but even he was eliminated too early, or not 'obviously' enough
>>2215923
No, royal rumble and wrestlemania are supposed to attract the casuals, but imagine how disappointed they were when the guys they were expecting (brock, goldberg and the undertaker) did pretty much nothing
>>2215868
1.5/10
Worst Rumble of all time that I've ever seen in 25 years.
Jericho was my pick for this one. He hasn't won the rumble yet and it would play well into the Steen/Jericho BFF angle if they have to face each other.
Randy Orton? Where the fuck is that even going? Orton vs Cena again?
2/10
trolling aside, they made a huge deal out of it, and now that everyone is complaining because it was below average, they should just stay quiet
>>2216030
this
>>2215939
>Implying Orton isn't a part timer
How dumb are smarks these days? They only ever like wrestling for the result.
>HURR AT LEAST ROMIN DIDNT WIN 9 STARS OUT OF 5 :D :D :D
>>2215868
3/10
Still not a dumpster fire like the last 5 years.

3/10
Not heinously bad but just average. Then Roman showed up and Boreton won and it dipped below.
PPV besides Rumble was good.
I watched Royal Rumble 2000 the day before, so maybe I spoiled myself, but 2017 was absolute fucking shit compared to it.
Horrible. Dare I say, worst of all time.
Not a single surprise entrant. Not even one. Not even a nostalgia guy, just one disappointment after the other, it got to #25 and then you realize none of the old-timers had even come out, and then they made Enzo come out at #27, and Roman at #30.
>based orton working the smarks
cry moar you faggots rA+ndy is main eventing wrestlemania once again and there is nothing you can do about it
>>2216071
>3/10
>just average
Wut
>>2216143
3/10 is the average of WWE programing nowadays.
Basically everything but smackdown is 1/10, and smackdown (plus talking smack) goes between 7/10 to 10/10
>>2216031
Orton vs Cena to Orton vs Bray I think
Biggest pop?
>>2216147
>Le smackdown is le goat xD
21+
>>2216153
That didn't get a big pop though
>>2216162
The time he lariated Bray Wyatt may have been the biggest pop of the night.
Either that or when Strowman got eliminated.
>>2216165
Taker showing up got the biggest pop
6.5/10
not bad i had a good time
>>2216168
How old are you? Seriously.
I can't wait to see BMJ vs Orton for the 23rd time :DDDD ebip
>>2216170
are you seriously that angry about wrestling
>>2216247
Nope I'm just curious how old you are.
4/10
It was around 7-8/10 up until around the #21 entrant.
After this Rumble, I think Money in the Bank has cemented itself as the superior number one contender gimmick match.
>>2216273
Survivor Series is rarely bad...I think.
>>2216031
>Orton vs Cena again?
Vs AJ. Or Cena is losing the title before WM because AJ/Cena storyline isn't close to over.
>>2216277
That doesn't determine a title contender though. Last year's was good, but usually it's the weakest of the big 4.
>>2216315
The Rumble has consistently sucked for the last 5+ years.
>struggle to stay unspoiled all day today
>come home ready for the Rumble
>no surprise entries
>not even some worthwhile NXT callups
>Big Dog at #30
>the bookies were right
2/10
Garbage, I hope Roman Reigns breaks his goddamn leg on raw tonight.
>>2216340
Exactly. it was just terrible all round.
>>2216160
>xD am i funny yet guise le maymays
>WAHHHHHH MY NXMEME CALLUP DIDNT WIN THE RUMBLE AND ELIMINATE EVERYBODY AND CUT A WORKED SHOOT PROMO IN THE RING ABOUT WWE SHITTING ON THE FANS AND ROMAN REIGNS AAAAH 0/10
KEEEEEK AAHAHAHAHAHAHA BASED BIG DOG YES
>Like, Zoinks Scoob!
>Dolph Ziggler comes out
>"He's got a whole new attitude King"
>no eliminations, couldn't even give him a Kalisto or Apollo Crews to throw out to further his storyline
>no interaction with King, even though they dragged him in to commentate for no particular reason
>jobbed out by Lesnar (technically a heel) in less than 5 minutes
For what purpose?
>>2216420
this
the rumble match was amazing, and Roman coming at #30 was totally unexpected
8.6/10 ppv, gets an extra 0.1 for working the smarks so badly
It would be a 0/10 if not for Tye Dillinger imho.
>>2216465
I didnt know Ziggler smarks existed
>>2215868
2/10
No Benoit return
4/10.
>Boring until Braun
>Braun got boring real early, match got boring again as a result
>The Wyatt meltdown was a briefly interesting spot
>Brock was great fun even if he looked like a fat fuck
>Goldberg squashing Brock was the highlight
>Was fun until Taker eliminated Goldberg, went to shit immediately after
>Went to shit even harder when Super Roman came in
>Was more a sigh of relief that Roman lost than excitement that Orton won
It felt like it was constantly just getting started. The lack of surprises or interesting spots for the first 20 places was awful
>>2215878
>A bunch of part time fossils making the main card guys look like geeks
What main card?
Ambrose always looked shit. Roman was a mess. Who else was even in the match from the main card?
>>2216468
I like how the smarks are getting worked because everyone hates the face.
have they finally given up pushing roman? Who will/should they push next?
>>2216676
>stopped pushing Roman
Nigga just lost his title match because someone interfered AGAIN, and then got the #30 spot as the BIG SURPRISE, and then eliminated taker.
There are no brakes on this push.
>>2216684
why didnt he win the rumble then?
>>2216687
Good point
also
Rip Goldberg/Taker/Bork/Snowman
3/10
Was alright until Brock came out and it was just everyone laying around until next person clears everyone out and continue laying in the ground. Taker looked absolute shit and if course bo surprise debut/return.
The actual rumble match was fucking terrible. Mainly in part because I'd stupidly deluded myself into believing the WWE would deliver something entertaining this year, yet still managed to confound my expectations and disappoint in almost every way.
The Retirement Rumble
I hope this was the last time I saw Goldberg and Undertaker participating in a Rumble forever.
