> What is /asp/ Predicts...?
This is a thread where we all vote and see if we can correctly predict the results of the current PPV.
> What are the rules?
Just simply follow the link to do the survey and that's it. If a match ends in DQ or no contest however, that is scratched from the total for the interest of fairness.
> How's this gonna work?
After each match I will post the updated results to see WHO is on their way to being a clean sweeper.

> NXT TakeOver San Antonio link: http://derpy.me/7udPI
Please offer a courtesy bump after voting, good luck!
And of course to add to the sheer amount of autismo, some of you will notice the Rumble match itself isn't on the predictions. That's because every year instead we do this - The Rumble Bet. Using a random number generator I give the participants a number and whatever number they get is their entrant for the Rumble. Every 30 people who participate, each slot opens up again.
>tfw you thought you knew the Roman/KO matchf but after Monday, you're not sure.
Our first load of people (don't expect me to update this every few minutes).
Also spruced up the /asp/ Approval Ratings. The most accurate way of detailing who is /ourguy/ on the entire board.
These shared PPVs are a waste for me to even vote on, I can't bring myself to watch RAM.
I can't bring myself to watch "womens wrestling" either, so that's only 1/3rd of the show that's even worth watching for me
Also I don't care about NXT or the Cruiserweights except for based Neville, so I should probably just go get a new hobby at this point.
Say hello to our first class. Will post an update every 30 guys so that people can't plan their submissions.
>No. 9 Group
Let's look back at 2014.
And of course, last year's - 2016.
Meet your tag team partners.
NXT is really hard to predict, because of the factors of whether they want to push a Dillenger vs Roode match and whether Nakamura/Asuka are being called up soon...
Also the Rumble is a massive clusterfuck
Have a soon-to-be King of the Cruiserweights bump.
Be it Takeover and/or RR, it appears this year's predictions are kinda tough. Hell, some of these matches can end in either favor here.
Don't worry about it. We got this.
Pathetic, ya need to leave me alone, Triphammer. I know ya; taller than me, smarter than me, and ya stronger than me, but ya need to just stop!
You are the single biggest asp antidraw of alltime and youve clocked up thousands and thousands of posts just using a trip, plus another 5000 more as anon at least
Sad sad little man
Muh random buzzword you dont understand; The Post
>Tye Dillinger vs Eric Young
They have to give this win to Tye if he's going to debut in the Rumble. If Tye loses this, it's safe to say they'll never pull the trigger on this guy.
>Roderick Strong vs. Andrade "Cien" Almas
Strong has done very little to stand out since his debut and Andrade needs to make up for some losses, so I'm giving this one to the lucha. Hopefully the both can ride positive momentum from this match into the Mania Takeover.
>#DIY vs. The Authors of Pain
Authors of Pain will pull off an upset victory. NXT has a history of giving face tag teams short reigns and the Authors of Pain can't afford to pick up too many losses before their time at NXT is done.
>Asuka vs. Nikki Cross vs. Billie Kay vs. Peyton Royce
This is a great opportunity to take the belt off Asuka, and I think Nikki Cross is the right choice. They have a rocky friendship and I think it can make for a great rematch story at the Mania Takeover right before calling Asuka up. Cross has been attacking men as part of Sanity so her powerlevel is a bit higher than other girls, though probably not on Asuka's level. Cross against Royce and Kay can carry the NXT women's division until they get more women or go all in on Ember Moon.
>Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Booby Roode
After two title changes, people will be wondering if Roode can actually do it. The answer is no, but this match is Roode's chance to define his WWE career. It should be glorious.
That's assuming Samoa Joe doesn't interfere, wreck both of them, and announce he's finished with NXT.
>Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax
Sasha's fanbase is rabid enough that she can lose a few matches without losing her spot. Nia is going to win this and "injure" Sasha, but she might get help from Emma to do it. Nia needs help on promos and Emma might be the right call.
>Cesaro & Sheamus vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson
Shesaro retains via shenanigans, Gallows and Anderson probably interfere at the Rumble to screw them over.
>Becky Lynch, Nikki Bella & Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss, Mickie James & Natalya
Heels win and poor Naomi eats the pin. This match means nothing though.
>Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley
The streak is continuing past Wrestlemania.
>Rich Swann vs. Neville
I want Swann to hold it a little longer, just because it got tossed around at the start. Neville is great, but he should be building these guys up, not holding a belt hostage. I also think 205L has a much more diverse roster and having a black champion demonstrates that.
>Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns
Owens is going to hold the belt until Finn comes back at the very least. He keeps teasing him with the "longest reigning Universal Champion" bit.
>AJ Styles vs. John Cena
This feud is getting weird and I think this could go either way. I'm gonna say AJ Styles, just because I think they can make a bigger deal out of Cena down the line if him and HHH are racing to beat the record.
Nope. The Rumble has a bad habit of making sure that the tag titles get dropped on the pre-show. Happened in 2014 with Goldust and Cody in favor of the old age outlaws. I know for sure it will happen this year as well.
Neville will win
Roman will win
Cena will win
And the stables grow.
>fuck off sami zayn
Why do I feel that group 9 is the x-factor of the bunch
squad, don't worry about #1 we got this.
Why am I not on there?
Do I have to do the NXMeme one too?
Benoit returns, biggest swerve in ENTERTAINMENT history.

Class 5 is in, see y'all tomorrow.
WWE is tired of the Rumble fucking up their Wrestlemania plans. Jericho will win it and then turn on Owens and challenge him for the Universal title. Jericho has never won a Rumble before either, so this will give him a good push. He'll win it through cowardly means, of course.
I think if Jericho won it (he isn't, Samoa Joe is) it would be because of his and Owens' breakup over something that happens during the cage match. Jericho is like "fuck this" and uses the Rumble to jump over to Smackdown, getting away from Owens and having the odds in his favor in a rematch with AJ from last year as the main event.
Thanks 2Cold for your continued support of /asp/. Wrestlemania probably won't be easy, but you're one of the board's biggest draws and we're gonna need you igmf we're going to Make /asp/ Great Again in 2017
>tfw you're gonna win this thing
>Peyton and Billie will fingerbang each other while Asuka and Nikki go for murder
Bam! Tier 6 has been unlocked!
>John Cena and Roman won using that number
I got this
Add me in lad.
The rigs will give me the winner's number.
Got a £20 bet on undertaker to win it at 4/1
£10 on braun strowan winning it at 7/2
and £10 on jericho, goldberg, brock and taker to be in hte final four at 10/1
Did the bet £10 get £30 worth of free bets sign up offer. how did i do? considering placing a bet on jericho to win it at 12/1
This is what my fantasy booking would be
>Cena beats AJ
>Taker wins rumble
>Cena vs Taker at Mania
>proposes to Nikki
>show ends with the champ and his fiancée
Now THATS a wrestlemania moment
If you're in 28 you better not be a vanilla midget
I haven't watched an NXT episode since the last Takeover- please pray for my bets.
Just a heads up, I won't be here for the actual Royal Rumble PPV thread. I'm going to go see it at a pub, so the poll for the Rumble WILL close at 21:00 GMT (16:00 Eastern time). At which point, I will finish the prediction sheet and the Rumble Bet sheet and post it on here. Hopefully someone else can pick it up and do it for me.
Still here for TakeOver though.
I'll be at the show tomorrow. Dubs chooses what I put on my poster board.
This season's clean sweepers.
I know he's been wrestling for a while, but I've never watched him, how is Styles in the ring? What kind of wrestling does he do?
Otherwise it looks like it could be an entertaining enough show. I wish Neville would get more love.
Styles is probably the best pro wrestler on the plant right now. A true natural.
Even Omega said that he doesn't have shit on Styles.
Great technical wrestler mixed with some flippy shit, makes anyone he works with look like a million bucks.
This generation's Shawn Michaels t b h

Don't screw me over, bookerman
