Is there a more JUST wrestler in the modern era?

>no reaction in America
>no reaction in Japan
>working middle school gyms and for whatculture shitlords
>the Golden Truth is more over than he is
>>
Ryback
>>
>>2171514
he was never good so i dunno if can be JUST, but then again the father of the meme brendan fraiser was never good either so i dunno, I DUNNO, are they even goin to pay me? these shirts are too small I'm mad now.
>>
>>2171517
idk

ryback prices himself ridiculously high so he doesnt get bookings

Cody prices himself like a cheap male escort, gets lots of bookings and performs terribly
>>
>tatoos dream above his nipple
J U S T
>>
>>2171539
imagine if he got it under his tit like all the sluts are doing now
>>
>>2171541
thats gotta hurt to get
>>
>>2171523
So is this "high price" the token answer by rybabbiez now?
>>
>>2171547
I'm indifferent to him but he really is pricing himself out of getting bookings.

He's nowhere near popular enough to demand what he does
>>
He's just trying to get that indy darling buzz and go back to WWE like a major indy star. Gotta see what NJPW does with him to consider him JUSTed.
>>
>>2171553
>thinks he deserved Cena money in WWE
>asks for too much to get independent bookings
Maybe he didn't keep injuring Phil on purpose and he really is just dumb as fuck.

>widely hated by her people
>no reactions in America
>stick in developmental for the rest of her career
>>
>>2171514
I never understood the dick sucking for this guy

The only time he ever gets a reaction if he does something wacky or zany

Like recently he got le updoots on leddit for flipping off a guy who called him Stardust at an indie show

Meanwhile i've yet to see any sort of "fascination" with his wrestling ability, which is boring as all fucking hell.
>>
>>2171523
$1,500 US per appearance.

For context:
>Hardy Boys are $5k. Each
>Ryback is $4,500
>Sandow is $1,200
>Gangrel is $500 plus travel expenses and hotel
>Nunzio is $150 plus travel expenses and hotel
>Kurt Angle is $3,000

>inb4 howd you know
I'm an indy promoter
>>
>>2171743
>>Hardy Boys are $5k. Each

if you want his wife and son too is it more?
>>
>>2171743
Ok I'll bite. How much is ZSJ's? Is it really that high that he doesn't mind wwe offer?
>>
>>2171743
Poor Nunzio
>>
>>2171743
How much for these guys? If you don't know throw out some other names.
>Young Bucks
>Colt Cabana
>Del Rio
>Scott Steiner
>Virgil
>>
>>2171789
Stiener is 5 billion.

Young cucks are free.
>>
>>2171792
Stop talking to yourself
>>
>>2171743
How the fuck are The Hardy's worth more than Angle?

Not that I don't love the Hardy's, but I don't see the logic in that at all. And yes, I'm saying that with full knowledge of Matt's broken gimmick.

Is it really that over?
>>
I saw him at a local show back in August. He does great no frills fundamental mat work. I don't get you guys' hate for him.
>>
>>2171796
Angle charges less now he used to charge 8k but now that he's going to have stable income from the WWE it makes sense he charges 3k.
>>
>>2171743
I kind of doubt that, the local promoter here has Matt Hardy here fairly often which would easily be $30k at least in 6 months
>>
>>2171743
>Ryback is $4,500

No wonder Ryback has no bookings.
>>
>>2171782
He sets his own booking fee, and also works for New York State as a judge's assistant or something, but it pays well to where he can take relatively low paying dates.
>>
>>2171756
I'm not 100% sure, because ive never had plans to book the rest of the Hardy clan on a show, but I would assume so.
>>
>>2171582

>comedy act in Japan
>burned all her bridges in Japan
>American marks are the only ones who take her seriously

At least she can still work the dumb gaijin.
>>
>>2171789
>>>2171743 (You)
>How much for these guys? If you don't know throw out some other names.
>>Young Bucks
They're signed exclusively to NJPW and ROH, with PWG as their only exception.
>>Colt Cabana
$850 + travel and hotel
>>Del Rio
$1,800 +
>>Scott Steiner
Never wanted to book him, so idk
>>Virgil
Never wanted to book him, so idk
>>
>>2171743
>Ryback is $4,500
how delusional is this guy? no one would pay him that money to appear and be gassed 2 mins in
>>
Cody is his own biggest mark. He's average in the ring and constantly bitches about creativity.

Hates Stardust, is too "Goldust's brother" and he hates it. Goes to Japan, his gimmick goes back to being Dusty Rhodes' son.

Real fucking creative there, Stardust.
>>
>>2171807
Indy guys can make deals with promoters for multiple dates at a lower cost, like Ryback for example. Unlike WWE, guys who work indys are actual independent contractors who can negotiate deals and whatnot.
>>
>>2171810
Ryback is booked pretty consistently where I live tho
>>
>>2171877
Thanks. On average, how much are you paying for travel and hotel? Who are your favorite guys to work with? (that we'd know)
>>
>>2171778
$1,200 US plus travel and/or hotel. He recently moved to Upstate NY, so the travel fees wont be as bad as they were before tho
>>
>>2171743
anon , please answer
>>2171778
>>
>>2171906
NEVERMIND I just saw
>>2171900
>>
>>2171897
Depends on from where the talent is coming from. If I book a show in northeast NJ and book *hypothetically* Taz, who lives in Brooklyn, NYC for a meet and greet before the show, I'd just pay his gas, which would prolly be around $70 tops

If I'm flying Ricochet from Kentucky, that's like $1100 for both flights and two nights of staying in a hotel (unless he knows someone in the area he can crash with), unless theres another promotion doing a show that same weekend nearby, (if I do a show on Friday in NJ and the other guy does Saturday in NYC), id hit up the owner of that promotion to split the costs of his travel fee.
>>
>>2171592
His wrestling ability is very old school, so quite slower.

Don't worry though they have wrestling for ADHD fans in Lucha Libre.
>>
>>2171877
Young bucks went to mexico, chile, peru. You are the worst liar.
>>
>>2171916
As a promoter, what have you learned from /asp/?
>>
Indy promoter here.

I've booked Cody before on a show and he is a genuine class act.
>one of the first guys to show up
>introduces himself to everyone from the workers to the ring crew to the photographers and production guys (most former E guys don't do that)
>watches everyone's matches and gives them advice after said matches
>invites everyone to the nearby Dennys after the show and pays for everyone's meals
>>
>>2171927
>gives them advice after said matches

hes an eternal midcarder who never had a good match and cant do his own finisher. who the fuck does he think he is to give advice
>>
>>2171924
Im based of the US.
>>
>>2171925
You'll never please everyone. Also /asp/ies aren't the type of fans to go to indy shows and support the future stars of the industry.
>>
>>2171930

Wow, you should have sex or get some sunlight at the very least.
>>
>>2171930
>international star
>has more experience working bigger crowds (most indy guys I book for every show have only worked in front of crowds in front of 250 max)
>working longer than most guys I book
>trained by some of the best in the world
>understands how to work the goddamn hardcam (you'd be surprise how many indy guys don't do that)
>>
Why are you fags seething over a young good looking ex-wwe guy who has a name people recognise (even if it is just through his father and not his own work) and isn't completely shit in the ring getting hired everywhere?

Easily the biggest draw in the indies right now after Angle and Del Patron but also more reliable than both.

You all know he's going back to wwe next year once he has cut his teeth in New Japan anyway
>>
>>2171582
She is good as jerk off material though
>>
>>2171782
He can make more than that working at Arby's.
>>
>>2171514
I actually feel bad for Cody.
He seems like he should get over, but he just doesn't and probably never will.
He will, however, be smark's choice.
>>
>>2171743
This maybe is an autist question, but does running an indy fed is even remotely comparable to what would someone do on those wrestling booking simulators like TEW?

Also, where do you run your shows? A bingo hall? An gym?
>>
>>2172105
No she fucking isn't you smelly virgin
>>
>>2172304
If you're completely autistic you can definitely see the connection between TEW and real life.

I've run shows out of high school gymnaisums, Elks Lodges, Knights of Columbus's, specified locations that have a ring set up already like an MMA gym, and medium capacity nightclubs.

Even when I was a booker of a different company and not yet the whole shebang of my own, I had to worry about attendance and shit because it would be my fault for not booking a big name people wanna see in a match with a local guy people wanna see or another big name in a match that should feel can't miss. But it wouldn't be entirely the end because the promoter was a huge money mark with a well enough paying job to overpay workers. Over the four years I was working there, alltogether he overpaid workers around $10,000.

Regardless, I still have that feeling when I book shows, talent, my production crew, ring rentals, venues, spreadsheets, flights, etc., because I want this thing to succeed and I want my company to be seen as the haven for the best local guys and the best indy guys, period to be working a show together and put over that younger, more local talent over. I want to be seen like how PWG is seen on the westcoast or how Beyond and CZW (minus the death match stuff) are on the east coast.
>>
>>2171927
>>invites everyone to the nearby Dennys after the show and pays for everyone's meals

great guy
