Stardom is horrible and losing attendance is something that I'd love because it would hopefully lead to actual change or they just keep going down then die which is what's suppose to happen with a bad product refusing to refresh/adapt, but no the attendance isn't down anywhere. They're selling out Shinkiba all the time and their shows outside of Tokyo(more specifically Shinkiba and Korakuen), which have increased a ton compared to other years, are apparently doing well if you believe the numbers they give out for those shows. Their Korakuen attendance, which can only be argued about "decreasing" if we're just going by everything since their inception, have been the essentially same numbers since mid-late 2014. This year's average is lower than previous years no doubt, but keep in mind 2015 would've looked the same as this year has in that regard if it wasn't for special attractions and coverage of the Shirai Sisters teaming up for the first time in about 3 years but also the last time, Act's return and later Act's retirement. I don't think Fedoramans track record is particulary great, but blaming him for everything bad in joshi has become a meme since the 00's.

The two main points against him tend to be the whole Aja situation and the Athress idea "killing" Jd Star.
The former was a pretty shitty thing to do, I agree, but still not really the sleaziest thing a promoter ever did and Jd Star was toast anyway, that's why they were desperate enough to give in to his ideas in the first place.

He was another failing promoter in a failing business at the time, it simply seems to me that hardcore joshi nerds singled him out and developed a hate boner for him due to the Athress gimmick "tainting" the image of joshi.

He is hardly a Russo, considering that Stardom is a relatively succesful promotion in todays scene. In-ring wise 2016 may have been the drizzling shits for the most part, but their hardcores don't seem to care, since the non-Korakuen attendance is at the highest level since peak-Aikawa era Stardom and the Korakuen numbers aren't exactly bad for joshi, especially when you consider that they run more there than every other joshi fed and don't seem to give the slightest fuck about what they put on those cards.
