Survivor Series had one great match (men one), one shocker and a good one (tag)

Fastlane had HHH vs Ambrose which was the redeeming one of a forgettable PPV.

And the best match of Survivor Series was the Tag one and it wasn't great.

I might be overrating it a bit, but Survivor Series had a fucking hour long men's match, a decent women's match, a really good tag match (like, REALLY REALLY GOOD once it got down to Shesaro vs. Usos), a pretty damn good IC Title match, a good CW Title match that initially had a stupid ending but did serve to advance the Corbin/Kalisto feud and get good heat on Corbin. And it ended with a really good, genuinely surprising moment that genuinely felt huge.

Honestly, I'd say it was the only Big 4 PPV of the year that felt really, really special. The Rumble was whatever, Mania sucked, Summerslam had some good, even great moments, but also a lot of smelly ones. Survivor Series just felt like a really fucking big deal to me. I dunno.

Fastlane had AJ/Jericho (probably the best match of their feud) and the main event, but not a lot beyond that, or at least I thought so.

The men's 5 on 5 and tag matches were fucking awesome. The women's was alright considering they're women. And Goldberg destroying Lesnar was the best thing that happened in 2016 so yea Survivor Series was by far the best ppv
