There is a vice documentary on youtube somewhere about BritWres that covers his story. Grado's appeal is half that he's pretty funny on the mic, but mostly that he's just a nice kind of bloke you could have a pint with. Not gonna lie. Hearing about grado online he deserves it.

The guy is a huge mark. He use to go into wrestling journalists chatrooms as a kid and get wrestler numbers. He once called up r-truth as a kid.

Yeah there are wrestlers who have left Britain and gotten more fame elsewhere, but Grado is probably the biggest name of the people who stayed here. And a big part of the viewership for this show was old farts that watched WoS back in the day, so they need as many of those callbacks as possible really.

Future shows should bring in more guys who went to WWE, or obviously guys like Scurll, ZSJ, Ospreay. This show was all about establishing a British brand to people who don't watch wrestling or haven't for 30 years, but from now on it'd be better to use the occasional foreign wrestlers like a normal indie show would.
