But Miz wasn't brilliant for a long time until he properly developed his A lister gimmick this year. For a good while he was just meandering along pretty aimlessly. Ziggler used to over but they never pushed him then and when smackdown did it was too late.

If anything Miz has regressed this year because fans have started to get on his side. He was a great heel in 2016, as he was in 2015, as he was in 2014.
