I've been curious how WCPW has even been legal for a while now.

Nobody knew about WCPW until a month before it launched. Prior to that, they spent over a year building up a dedicated youtube following under the implication that they were WWE fans. They would, of course, hate on Roman which isn't that uncommon but considering how many WhatCulture signs show up on Raw I have no doubt that they've impacted crowd reactions to some degree. They also do those 10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget lists, which often focus on serious PR and personal life blunders made by WWE staff. That sort of thing is funny when it's a fellow fan doing it, but not when it's a competing brand. King Ross being responsible for JBL getting tons of hate mail due to the JohnoClock gimmick is funny when it's a random youtube fan, not so funny when it's a competing brand.

They spent all of 2015 kicking WWE whenever it was down and acting like they were harmless, and then out of nowhere they launch WCPW and start snagging former WWE wrestlers. Something about that is fishy business.
