That isn't entirely true. There's only one thing that matters in pro wrestling: getting over. It doesn't matter how it happens, if you're over then you're over

The in ring stuff, like working the mic or having in ring charisma, is just another way people can get over. Obviously you can compensate in one of these areas to hide your weaknesses.

There was never a guy who couldn't do the things listed and managed to stay over
