Foley was never an indie darling you stupid faggot. Foley was simply one of the liked characters outside of Austin and Rock. Key word here on CHARACTER. Mankind has far more character than pretty much everyone on the roster today. Foley also wasn't some fake 220 pound wrestler that really weighs 185 pounds soaking wet. He was a legit heavyweight even if he was a fat sloppy neckbeard.

Owens isn't even in the same league as Foley GTFO of here.

the 10 years of Cena had a problem, WWE pushed just him

they tried making Orton his counterpart, just like Austin had Rock, HBK had Bret, but it didn't work that well

so it was just Cena, Cena, Cena and those who didn't like him dropped the ball with WWE, hence the downward spyral

Raw after WM defines the work of a year, if it was good or bad. 10 years of Cena sent it downwards, except when WWE brought back Rock to be his rival.

Then WWE found a goldmine in Daniel Bryan, who for a short while actually gained that universal consensus Cena lacked. The Bryan era had 2 3.7 Wrestlemania.

Meanwhile, WWE built Rollins and Reigns to take over and failed with both.

Reigns is more noticeable because going from 3.7 to 2.9 is a gigantic hole, though it can be partly attributed to the fact that the roster was decimated. Nonetheless, he proved to be a poor choice and that's 50% on WWE's booking at least.

Now they are stuck in the downward spiral they created themselves.
