The promos can use some work, I agree, but it's not like that's exclusive to this era. It was no better half a decade ago.
Rusev isn't buried at all and neither is Roman. They're finally giving Roman the push he deserved three fucking years ago instead of trying to force him down people's throats. With some luck, he'll be back in the Main Event but in a way that feels organic.
And ratings were terrible with Roman too, it doesn't matter if you have one exception.
