The Taker/Mankind one was better simply for Foley standing up when he honestly should have just quit after that table spot, and then after the cage breaking spot (which was not scripted to happen) and STILL he managed to get some offense in.
Also TLC 2 breaks that idea

Not a lot of wresslin happened in Taker vs Shawn either. It was most Shawn running scurred and getting beat up.
Foley was getting beat up but kept coming back for more.
