People like to dress like their favorite skaters and right now the FA Skate Fucks are the biggest influence for the at the moment. The style diverges from the past trends of baggy cargo pants of the early 2000s or the skin tight Corey Duffel (fuck that guy by the way) denim from 2006-10. When I went to NY I saw that this trend actual gets out of skate brands and into brands like Polo and Lacoste, and I think that's what scares some people. And then again some people look at you strange because you came to the park or the spot not looking like a bum for once.

I've been going back to the park daily with a few exceptions. I'm learning a new trick just about every day, and I've never felt better since I started going. How do I get into skating again if I'm a grown ass 22 year old man? I weigh 175 at 5'7, I lift and used to play football but injured my shoulder and might never play again.
