I bought a box of 10 for £50 and none of them feed properly. Every 4 or 5 rounds feeds.

It was a problem with the size, they were slightly smaller than the magwell so wobbled a bit.

Try wrapping electrical tape or something just below where the receiver locks the mag on the magazine itself, it should fix it.

This was before my AK and rig had come in.
I was using my 416 and OD JPC.

My brother left for deployment in the pacific and he gave me his Airsoft M4
I dont know what type or what the fuck it is, all i know is that its a Gas Blowback type.

If you can see the WE G39 behind it, that shit's fucking dead because i did not maintain it and everything is fucking broken and shit.

Now, seeing as there's no airsoft facilities in 100 miles from here im most likely never going to use it, but i dont want it to rot away like the gun before that, especially since its my brother's gun.

What do i need to do to this thing to keep it in working condition? I will most likely not be using it, as previously stated.

Internally on the guns, leave them be. With the mags, press the release valve (the big button on the top back of the mag), then when any gas inside has emptied, put some pure silicone oil into the inside, you shouldn't need a lot, jsut a few drops. Then top the mag up with gas. preferably a gas with some silicone in it. Like WE green gas. then leave it all alone. if he's away longer than 3 months, I reccommend emptying the mag and repeating.

Gently spray some silicone spray on the nozzle on the bolt, and gently spray some on the rubber gaskets on the magazines.

If you live in a particularly humid state, maybe give it a light spray of ballistol or other CLP and a basic wipe-down, but it shouldn't matter if you're not going to use it.

The list goes on. They are real fuckin' neat-o and I would enjoy having one but I don't care enough to go out of my way to get one. If a decent deal comes by I guess I could get one, but I'd rather spend this month's $1500 airsoft budget on a bunch of different shit that I enjoy more than one thing I enjoy. Same reasons go for why I don't have any HPA setup in general, though I'm sure I'll get one eventually.

I'd rather go G&G. If you really have the money to make a decent DMR then I'd also take the one with a body that handles abuse and constant disassembly. CHeap stuff tend to disintegrate fast if you have to open it up continuously.

Break in is the biggest annoying part of it, after you finish that, all that you really need to do is clean it & lube it every day that you play, which isn't a huge hassle, takes 5 minutes

As an MG user I can say it is possible but its not really comfortable. And if you detach the bipod the gun suddenly weights only half of what it used to.

TM pistols are one of the best but they lack of external metal parts. They perform very well tho if you want something more "realistic" you might want something else.

Clean them after every game like you would with a real gun after a range day, keep the magazines gassed up to prevent the gaskets from shrinking, and only use pure silicone oil because petroleum based ones dry out silicone and rubber based polymers. Things WILL break, and I recommend getting a feel for disassembling the gun for when things do fail so you don't have to pay a tech.

HPA can be made more silent which is very important for snipers. Muzzle energy variances are also minimal with HPA, which results in better vertical accuracy. I'm not sure about Bolt, but with most other HPA solutions, you can adjust the air volume just right for your barrel. The HPA bolt is also lot easier to pull which is a really big deal when you're crouching in a bush and trying remain concealed.
