People under-rate his ring-work massively in retrospect.
He's a guy you had to be watching at the time to fully enjoy his matches, because half of his ability came from a fantastic wrestling-mind that was only truly seen viewing the work in full context.
That said he was pretty fucking sloppy when he tried to do more athletic stuff. He should've stayed away from crossbodies and moonsaults.

Watch some of your Attitude Era Favorites they are also full of botches and shit. MITB 11 still remains one of the best matches in wwe history if they like it or not. The build up and the pop where amazing and its one of the few John Cena matches i can watch without wanting to kill myself.
