If you dislike a heel you are being worked. Doesn't matter if they are a shitty wrestler like Mahal or show up every 3 months like Lesnar or be a chickenshit like Owens on Raw.
If you want them to lose or are annoyed by them you are being worked
I didn't want Owens to lose, though, I wanted him to beat the shit out of everybody, power bomb them through stuff and be champ for a year.
What about if I hate them so much I change the channel and find something else that's more interesting and forget to flick back to RAM?
Worked?
>>2655974
The point of the heel is to make me want to see that person get beat up by a guy a do like.
A heel isn't "working" shit if I don't like him and have no interest in seeing him do anything, I.E Jinder Mahal
Big Dong Dave Meltzer said TNA Lockdown 2013 is the biggest crowd for a non-WWE wrestling show in the USA in the last 10 years.
They allegedly drew 6,700 total with at least 4,000 paid.
You think NJPW can match that in the US? Okada vs. Omega?
>>2655918
>You think NJPW can match that in the US? Okada vs. Omega?
Easily.
i cant believe aces and eights was that long ago.
>>2655920
Not easily. They need a real ad campaign.
The entry level mark knows wwe, they have no idea what the fuck a new japan even is. It will cost them a huge campaign across multiple avenues. Though, that may pay off for the next one, and the next one after that.

A cocky, no nonsense tough guy who was there to show he was the best.
Roman - gets savagely beat with all sorts of backstage equipment, gets thrown off a ledge while strapped to a stretcher, gets loaded into an ambulance and then the ambulance gets flipped, is back on TV next week with some bandages, gets savagely beat again with weapons/stairs to the point where he's spitting up blood, gets beat up some more backstage, escapes within an inch of his life, back on TV once again next week.
Strowman - the guy that collapsed the ring superplexing Big Show, flipped Roman's ambulance, and then tore an ambulance door off its hinges from running into it; gets beat down once with a chair or something by Roman and is out for 6 MONTHS with an injury.
I know Strowman is legit injured, but holy shit did they book this poorly. For a guy that they're trying to build as the #1 monster heel on the brand, they've really made him seem merely human. One beatdown and he's out for half a year, whereas Roman can survive a veritable nuclear explosion and be back on TV next week with some bandages.
His credibility is gone. He's gonna come back wearing pink spandex and dancing the macarena. And he knows it, too. Just look in his eyes.
>>2655760
>tfw Strowman won't get his own WWE 24 show chronicling his comeback
That's what he gets for trying to take the spotlight away from BBD. God himself struck him down.

>Jeff Hardy defeated Sheamus. This was a really enjoyable match but I dunno what the fuck was up with Sheamus’s timing. Sheamus hits the Brouge so Jeff grabs the bottom rope, Sheamus somehow mistimed a flying nothing that was suppose to be transitioned into a Twist of Faith, Sheamus goes for the Brouge again and either Matt Hardy forgot to sell or Sheamus mistimed his finisher so Jeff hits his Finishers for real for the win.
>The Miz defeated Dean Ambrose via Disqualification to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship. There is your spot on the Extreme Rules card. Finn Balor is getting his own 24 special just like Seth Rollins did. Finn reads off some terrible Vince approved lines of dialogue.
>There was a match a long time ago where Triple H wrestled Carlito in a Handicap No Disqualification match where Carlito was given access to use weapons but Hunter wasn’t because he’d unironically be disqualified or some shit and Hunter still won the match...Ambrose and Miz will be competing under that kind of stipulation.
>TJ Perkins and Neville defeated Jack Gallagher and Austin Aries. New Jersey is extremely anti cruiserweight it seems because fans were shit canning this matches existence. “This is boring” and “CM Punk.” These 4 dudes literally eat up the meat of the Cruiserweight division they’re the only ones who get to go on non NXT tours and are on Raw every week.
>I never wanna see any combination of matches featuring Dar/Swann/Aries/Neville/Gallagher/Perkins ever fucking again.
>Seth Rollins defeated Bray Wyatt via Disqualification since Joe was the only person out of the 5 who didn’t get a match
>Roman Reigns; several months later gets his win back over Finn Balor. Finn is essentially forcing Reigns to do the one thing he hates putting genuine actual effort into: Selling. Reigns sells the whole match, hits his Shitty Superman Punch, counters the Top Rope Mushroom Stomp then hits the Spear to the sund of Apathy. This is probably designed to where it’ll think Reigns will win the 5-Way at Extreme Rules when we all knows its going to be Balor. Reigns is getting his match on a bigger card on a bigger ppv for a bigger payday in a bigger stadium w/ a much bigger crowd.
>>2655710
>Ambrose and Miz will be competing under that kind of stipulation.
In whose favor? Doesn't Miz already use shenanigans to win most of his matches anyway? And what if Dean gets DQ'd? Does he keep the belt?
>>2655741
Who fucking cares
Their match is non important because now they need to contend with
>2/3 of the more popular Shield members

What the fuck she is actually a good promo
Is she unironically the new Trish Stratus but even better promo wise?

>point out how they are a tag team they returned to the WWE after 7 years of being gone and getting a title shot+title win at wrestlemania and an undefeated streak, and yet they shit on people like ramen who lost two matches in a single PPV.
>they say "im glad you're here, its nice to have someone else's opinion"
>the next day
>"waaah strowman is injured... i wonder if it was roman..." "OF COURSE ITS ROMAN" "MORE REASON TO HATE" "GRRRR"
>point out and even link sites that say its a building injury and not just from one match
>get banned
Are smarks the worst thing to happen to wrestling? Bet they get all their information from whatcuckold wrestling.
Wew. I would say they are borderline marks if they think roman moving out the way of the door, a planned spot, is somehow romans fault.
>it's a "romark cries and needs /asp/ to be his safe space" thread
>>2655404
Im not a romark, I just dont blame a wrestler who didnt cause an injury for an injury.

Only a famous guy like Ted Turner or netflix can make a wrestling company a modern WCW.

Wouldn't really call "cocksleeve" a character, she was just a pornier version of what Alicia Fox is today.
CM Punk is proof that UFC doesn't have any prestige. If you're famous you can skip the line and get earn 2 million in one night, while capable fighters are kept waiting. So the whole "There are levels to MMA" is all a bunch of bull?
Either that Or
Punk is the greatest man to step into the octagon. He played an innovative heel who made a nobody like Mickey Gall relevant for one month
Which reasoning do you choose?
If you're famous you can walk right in
UFC is a joke.
>>2655094
it's a work.
99% of even high level MMA fighters are anti-draws.
Every now and then they still do matches which are more of exhibition bouts. James Toney before Punk, early UFC as well.
They do it to show just how adept their fighters are at the art of killing people, a guy like Punk gets steamrolled every time.
If the same match up happened in the wild Mickey would have the option of making Punk his fuck toy before killing him and there wouldn't be a damn thing he could do about it.
Talk about prestige? You don't need it when you're a killing machine, my man.
