>What is your favorite wrestling game?
No Mercy, though I have a soft spot for WM2K
>What is your go-to finisher?
Screwdriver or Avalanche Brainbuster
>Who is your go-to CAW?
Tony Lightning, an Italian cruiserweight who wears black/yellow lightning tights and a black bandanna. Moveset is a mix of HBK, Styles, and RVD. Kinda generic but whatever.
>What's currently going on in your fed / universe / GM mode?
The Dudleyz are feuding with the Coney Island Warriors
Always wanted to play Showdown 64 but im shit at setting it up. WWF NO MERCY Summerslam mod was my shit back in 2008

His ECW pre-debut vignettes said he trained muay thai or something. I can't find it on YouTube.
>>2680594
Yes and he even had a sloppy looking "Muay Thai combo" he used to do.

Jack Swagger looks terrible now. Where did it all go wrong?
swagger would have just been a country farm boy making an honest living as a oklahoma farmer
but then JR lied to him and said he could be a wrestler
What happened to Jack he looks awful
Over/under he's dead within 5 years?
Ringling Bros.and Barnum & Bailey circus performed for the final time yesterday. Closing down after almost 150 years of being an American institution.
Over the years ticket sales declined, general interest declined, and it became something passe.. sound familiar?
How long does WWE have left?
>>2680375
what are you talking about?
the future of wrestling is bright.
I mean, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey didn't have 400 million dollar TV deals, so your analogy is a TEENSY bit off.
Come see Roman Reigns vs Jack Swagger in the main event of Wrestlemania 39, LIVE from Stamford High School Gymnasium!

Where did it all go wrong?
Where's Manju's knife?

Not a knife, was a tear in the poster.

I've been worked
Last night, you all learned what you should have already known years ago. The WWE title is not for who's the most over/the most talented in the ring/has the most charisma/the best look.
The wrestlers who hold the title, fit 1 of 2 categories:
1. Is either a well-deserving legend in Vince's eye, is a current top draw that he personally likes, or is otherwise really close enough to Vince for him to allow them to hold the title when they request it. In other words...the title is a reward, normally for that wrestler's ego. Think of Orton, Cena, and Triple H. Think of Backlund's run in the early 90s; The Rock's last title reign despite not wrestling regularly.
2. That wrestler holding the title is believed by Vince to be "best for business" in a more indirect way than a top draw would be. Obviously we all know that established top draws holding the title is best for business. But think about all those title holders who were not draws, and/or did not seem like main-event material let alone WWE champion material (e.g. 2010 Miz, Del Rio, Sgt. Slaughter). They were all "best for business" in some other form.
And now we have Jinder. Over 1.2 billion Indians on this planet, to cast a wide net over and try to get regular viewers out of. Some of us have seen the youtube videos of the Indian WWE fans doing their "matches" in the streets so clearly there is an audience. They already tried it once with Khali, but stopped short of giving him the WWE title (probably due to what was clearly a short shelf life for him as an in-ring competitor, and also his difficulty with working matches)
Jinder as WWE champion doesn't make sense to you and "tarnishes" the title in your view, because you think the WWE title is only for established draws/potential draws. It's not. There are many other indirect ways for Vince to use that title to attempt to better his business. Make no mistake, Jinder as champ IS a gamble. But Vince understands that it's a high-reward gamble if he wins.
Thanks for that long drawn out explanation of what people have said in less than two sentences.
People get it. They just disagree if this was a "smart" gamble.
>>2678374
>People get it. They just disagree if this was a "smart" gamble.
No, "people" don't get it.
The hundreds of people I see on Twitter bitching about "Hogan...Austin...Rock...Cena...JINDER?!?!?! WTF?!?!?!" don't get it.
Hence the long, drawn-out explanation.

>Over 1.2 billion Indians on this planet, to cast a wide net over and try to get regular viewers out of
You mean 36 million Canadians...
> Speaking of Smackdown, Broadcasting Cable had a list of the ten companies that spent the most money from January through last week in advertising on Smackdown as: 1) WWE Network $742,418; 2) Taco Bell $618,033; 3) Verizon $583,050; 4) The Real Cost $559,728; 4) NutriSystems $559,728; 6) Universal Pictures $536,406; 7) Domino’s $513,084; 8) Geico $443,118; 9) Burger King $396, 474; 9) Subway $396, 474. Considering USA Network would have paid about $21 million for the rights to Smackdown and the revenue from the leading advertisers was $5,348,513, it shows a big gap between the two numbers. Overall, that would under normal TV standards be considered shockingly low advertising revenue given the amount of viewers Smackdown draws.
>>2678334
>1) WWE Network $742,418
Soooo...the WWE is technically paying itself? Can't see how that could go wrong in the long run...
>>2678349
But it's only 9,99, Maggle
>>2678349
Not quite. They may get a small cut, but they are talking about the money NBC universal gets to air commercials.
The TV deal, for the most part, is an agreed upon amount of money before hand.
>Alexa vs Asuka
Alexa looks way better then that Jap whore, you cannot convince me Asuka looks better, the only Diva who looks worse then Asuka is that porkster Nia Jax,like seriously Alexa has the ideal body, hair, face and is to women what The Godfather is to movies the best one and she is absolutely fuckable, Asuka looks like she takes Samurai dick up her ass and spent 10 days on the street corner fucking with desperate fat weebs.
>The ugliest woman in the company looks worse than the best looking
