If you cannot switch over to the current programming and enjoy what you are watching then you won't truly get into it. Most people into wrestling now are just nostalgiafags, hoping to see a return to the good old days of <whichever era was current when I was 10 years old>.

If, as a new fan, you cannot watch the new stuff and get excited about it, then there is no real "in".

they took away storylines and substituted it by trying to present everything as a 'competition' between two 'top tier athletes' and they have commentary try to sell things as a legit sport rather than a fight which is the culmination between two characters.
