So I decided to give NXT another shot after hearing some good things about it on here. And boy, did I make the right decision doing that. The product fucking rules. The many recognizable names they have include young, virulent talents, the Authors of Pain. There are literally MANY storylines and larger than life characters. It's just plain ol' fun.
I watch wrestling to be entertained. And boy does this deliver in spades. Fuck yeah.
Welp, back to watching another Takeover.
>>2944710
I find the weekly episodes boring but Takeovers never disappoint.
>>2944710
I agree. Thank you for bringing a positive post to this ignominious cesspool.

What ever happened to real men in wrestling, men that used to go to bars and get on fights and fuck whores and do drugs, today's wrestlers watch anime and play videogames like fucking losers.

They are all dead or broke
Bars cost a lot more now and all the cheap accessible entertainment there is now it's easy to see how it happened.
You gotta realize even dudes like Scott Hall and Kevin Nash say they wish they had the kind of video games guys have now.
>Can you spot me, anon?
You call those chicken bones 'legs'?
I wouldn't be a good spotter as I would just slide her pants down and bury my face in her butt since she left an opening

>You're stuck in an elevator with Vince McMahon for three hours. The first hour, the two of you desperately try to call for help, but there is no cell signal and no one can hear you.
>The second hour in spent in awkward silence as Vince suppresses gags at the grotesque stringy neck hairs under your chins and at the sour, putrid sweat soaking through your Young Bucks hot topic shirt between your mantitties.
>The third hour, Vince finally breaks the silence with small talk. The conversation switches to wrestling, where Vince admits that he wishes he could duplicate the Attitude Era's success. "You're one of those millennial internet smart marks who thinks he knows the business, right? What would you do, anon?"
1. You overwrote it to shit
2. Vince is an alpha male and therefore instantly moves to dominate any space he is in, even when that space is an audience of one sweaty dork. The 2hr silence is not believable.
3. Vince wouldn't use insider terms when talking to a jabroni.

Who is this?
It's just funny because tony was an absentee father that let meadow and Carmella raise AJ while also maintaining the idea that he doesn't want AJ to follow in his foot steps. So what else was he supposed to do? He seemed to be normal by today's standards.
Source: The Steve Austin Show
Recently on The Steve Austin Show, WWE Hall Of Famer Steve Austin welcomed fellow WWE HOF Inductee Jim Ross to the podcast. Among other things, the pair discussed Kenny Omega.
"He's [Omega] very reminiscent to me and indicative of today's [pro] wrestler, what they think, and how they act, and how they perceive the [pro wrestling] business," Austin said. "And I'm not saying any of this in a negative way, just there's a new era and a new wave of thinking. And for us old guys, we kind of have to be willing to hear their point of view because their point of view sometimes isn't what we were raised with."
In Austin's opinion, an unhindered Omega in WWE could be "the next big thing".
"Hands down, he is one of the best in the world, if not the best in the world, in my opinion. If he came to the WWE, if he had any interest in doing so, I think that guy could be the next big thing, the next big draw." Austin added, "I don't know if Kenny in WWE is going to happen. I'm saying he has the most potential of all, if he was given the platform and not be put in a box."
Austin continued praising Omega, saying 'The Cleaner' is "a real deep thinker" and "super talented".
"He may never go to New York, but just when I look out there, Jim, and I ask, who could be the next big draw, he's at the absolute top of my list. Will it happen? Maybe it will and maybe it won't, there are other factors in play, but that's what I think his potential truly is, if he's not to be held back." Austin admitted, "I see so much in this kid that I haven't seen in anyone in a decade, and that's why I'm so high on him."
Moreover, Austin suggested that if charisma really is the most important factor in scouting prospective WWE talents, Triple H should look no further than Omega, who has charisma in spades.
"I was watching an interview Triple H did an [the interview and] said, 'what's the one thing you're looking for most in a person that he's interviewing with to bring into the company?' And the number one thing he said was 'charisma,' and, man, when I see this kid, and I've never met him, but I saw some of his interviews over there in Japan. He speaks fluent Japanese and his mannerism. And, boy, all of a sudden, he started lighting up in the Japanese language. And then, he's speaking in English. He was like a lightning bolt on that microphone."
Austin considered, "hell-a lot of charisma, hell-a lot of presence, and bigger than life personality. And he can go like a son of a b---h in the ring, so he has got all that a true star needs. He has been in the business 15 years or better, so he knows all that. He knows how to get over. He can get over like no one ever did, if the company's really behind him and given that platform. I think he's a guy that's hungry enough to be on board and say, 'hey, I want to be number one, and I'm the next face of wrestling.'"
What does Austinetty know? He always played second fiddle to the Rock and Triple H and hasn't been relevant in 15 years.
Jim Ross Followed through and noted that he respects Omega for staying with NJPW to take care of some "unfinished business".
"He still has unfinished business to do in New Japan because he has accepted some portion of ownership of his role in that company, so being in New Japan to Kenny Omega is important. It's not just about Kenny Omega and his payday, or Kenny Omega and his gimmick sales, or what the Bullet Club does, or blah, blah, blah, or a million things. It's about, 'can he help build the brand that's funding his life right now?' And that's what they're doing. And he has taken ownership of that, 'I have unfinished business and I want to stay here and get this company elevated more.'"
With that said, Ross indicated that he thinks Omega will sign with WWE in 2018. Additionally, JR insinuated that Omega would be leaving money on the table if he never works for WWE, saying Omega "owes it to himself" to have a WWE run.
"When his deal is up in early 2018, as I understand it, that I think he will be in WWE sometime in 2018." Ross averred, "if you're a pro wrestler and you don't have the chance, or you take yourself out of a chance to go to WWE at some point in your career, in your productive years, you might be cheating yourself in my opinion money-wise."
What a complete fucking waste

Watching that 1998 DX shit as an adult will ruin your childhood. They're awesome when you're 11 years old though and you find dick and poop jokes to be edgy humor.
Actually, most of the attitude era is hard to go back and watch today. Aside from Austin and the Rock, it's fucking garbage.
