Which of these three is most likely to be WWE champ /asp/?

Gable has a great look on this pic, I'd love to see him win the title
Gable might have a Benoit trajectory further down the line.
Honestly, I would say none, but we now live in a post-Jinder world, so what do I fucking now.
>>3014513
DAMN cm punk looks like that?
So it's probably a safe bet that he's the guy to dethrone Okada and it'll be in the dome at WK12. Do you think he'll have a longer reign than he did in 2016? And assuming that Kenny resigns, do you see Kenny being his major rival/feud?
>>3014276
>Kenny being his major rival/feud?
No, Tanahashi.
Or Okada.
Okada is the most important guy they have so even if he loses at WK12 I don't see him staying down on the card for too long.
I feel like Naito's gotta reign for a while after all of this, but yeah, I see Kenny winning the title off him if he signs for more than a year. Then Kenny/Okada IV at WK13?
According to r*ddit, some guy read a dirt sheet where they said Tozawa tortured a monkey while at Dragon Gate, so now we should hate him as a human being and wrestler.
>>3014174
>According to anon, according to reddit
Reddit also hates Kendrick for believing Sandy Hook was a false flag. Who cares what Reddit thinks?
>>3014174
He did, along with several other wrestlers.
Which match will steal the weekend?
Almas vs Gargano
Any one of them because I'll feel like they stole my time if I watch any of that shit.

>>3013662
This is a match between two gargantuan's. I'm so excited. What's not to love?
>>3013662
>Seething reddit manlet
It's ok buddy, meltzer knows that feel, he can be your friend
He's a better talker than Brock.
He has a better look than Joe.
He's better in the ring than Braun.
He's more popular among teens than Cena
He sells more tickets than Styles.
So, tell me, /asp/, why shouldn't he be THE GUY?
Because this guy is. And Roman Reigns is little league compared to him.
>>3013650
GOAT
>gear is half his own half ibushi
Better storytelling on his fucking pants than WWE has in a year
>>3013653
Ibushi is a living legend. So many people in the indy's are outright biting his style and he just keeps going.
I mean, come on.
>>3013591
I push my fingers into my eyes.
This is still the most brutal bump in all of pro wrestling, right?
(Retarded deathmatch shit does not count)
>>3013510
You can't ask a question about "all of pro wrestling" and then exclude a part of wrestling just cause you don't like it.
>>3013510
Classic E drone.
Can we please retire this shitty excuse for lazy writing?
Don't get rid of it. Just use it better.
Yes. Its a meme that is past its time
>>3013379
It's actually a great device for a pro wrestling show, they just don't use it well at all
I was thinking about big guys earlier and I've gotta say, I think Big Cass is the future. Anyone else think Cass is where the money is? He has great potential.
>>3013369
Vince does
I was thinking about big guys earlier and I've gotta say, I think Baron Corbin is the future. Anyone else think Corbin is where the money is? He has great potential.

baron snorbin is a loser
There's no denying the year that NJPW is having. Whether you are a fan of the company or not, NJPW is not only on-track to having their best year in company history financially, but they're setting the wrestling world ablaze by having the single greatest year in wrestling history from an in-ring standpoint. Ever since Wrestlekingdom 11, after the rise of Kenny Omega, Kazuchika Okada, Tetsuya Naito and Hiroshi Tanahashi into wrestling legend, business has been booming. Attendance has been up, despite increased ticket prices which directly resulted in increased revenue, merchandise has been way up, let's not forget that incredibly successful Hot Topic deal in which demand blasted through supply resulting in LIJ merch now being sold at the retailers, American subscribers have gone way up (by their standards). The one thing holding NJPW back from total domination of the sport, however, is a very lackluster TV deal. AXS.Tv just isn't a very accessible channel and it's hard to locate on most cable providers and in Japan, they're in a dead-end time slot that isn't helping them.
Enter the CW. Wouldn't the CW be a perfect fit for NJPW as it attempts to expand into the mainstream? The CW is a basic cable channel along with Fox, CBS, NBC, ABC, Univision, etc, which already guarantees enormous accessibility but isn't quite as standard as those other networks. Along with all those aforementioned channels, Sinclair owns the CW and as many of you may know, Sinclair owns Ring of Honor which is directly co-operating with NJPW and helping them step into this unfamiliar territory. CW has admittedly, very weak programming, most shows appealing to comic book fans and fandoms with shows like "The Flash", "Riverdale", "Supernatural" and most importantly "Arrow", starring Stephen Amell who is very good friends with current ROH champion and NJPW talent Cody Rhodes. All things considered, this sounds like it would be a perfect fit.
If Sinclair wants to do something with ROH, the time is now as the channel could use some diversity and has already dipped their feet into the world of professional wrestling, airing Saturday Morning Slam and WWE Thursday night Smackdown a few years ago when they were kicking Raw's ass in the ratings. The product(s) will come gift-wrapped with an already established install base. Hardcore wrestling fans and casual fans who want to know what all the fuss is about surrounding Kenny Omega and the Bullet Club. Basic cable networks like NBC, CBS and ABC are extremely unlikely although a pretty shitty late night/early morning spot on the CW or Fox (which are LARGELY just re-runs or infomercials) would be an immediate improvement over Axs, the only problem is, with the great success of the G1 Special in the USA, they wouldn't let NJPW which is their ONLY program that people watch go so easily. It's painfully obvious that they're not going to expand without a more accessible channel, but NJPW has outgrown Axs. Would this work, /asp/? I don't see why it wouldn't. If, say, this were to work, how would you go about programming the shows? Would you air PPVs live from Japan in early morning blocks? Would you merge with ROH and air a weekly show from the United States? Would you take Dave Meltzer's approach and air big events on basic cable for free and run a few shows in major markets every month here in America? The demand is obviously there, the product just needs to be more accessible. Would you say "FUCK YOU" to Japan, merge with ROH and go all-in on a global brand with Japanese talents being held primarily in the United States? How would you expand NJPW, /asp/?

yawn
>>3013130
On one hand, it's be comfy as fuck watching wrestling on CW again. CW Smackdown was kino as fuck
On the other hand, CW is already packed to the brim with shit to air
What do you think his overall will be?
Best Overall with be a tie between Brock and Cena.
Kurt will be next.
Roman, AJ, Taker, Orton, and Seff will all be high.
Braun, Joe, Jinder, and Shinske will be the next rung.

Can /asp/ crack the case?
I voted you because you'd probably draw better you have more name recognition then the rest

Fella, thanks to you I am officially more over than Zack Ryder.

It's EC3.
From Tanahashi's book:
>Last year when he fought in the G1, he got good reaction from the crowd with his Bachi Bachi (MMA/Brawler/Battle Arts style) match. I felt the locker room feel uneasy about it. But it didn’t perturb me at all. I could imagine to a certain extent that the crowd will react to slaps and kicks.
>I take pride in saying that Shibata’s style was accepted because “Tanahashi / Okada” styles were established as a basis. There is a foundation for “A bit old-school NJPW” style matches to be accepted in the current NJPW. This is not a bluff. I believe so from the bottom of my heart.
>There is no “Next” to those Bachi Bachi style matches. As I pointed earlier when I talked about dangerous moves, fans will seek for more intensity. And the wrestlers have to escalate their violence. And a gruesome scene that you would want to look away will take place on the ring again.
>I believe that the true nature of pro-wrestling lies in arousing fans’ interest, making them wonder, “Where will this fight lead to next?” Is there “Next” to Shibata’s pro-wrestling?
Listen you old faggots who still worship Inoki, your era is DEAD, it's the past and gone for a reason. "Strong Style" is a dying breed and for good reason. Killing each other with stiff strikes is boring as fuck and kills guys careers faster.
Why do you think Misawa died at 46? Why do you think Kobashi didn't even make it to 50 before retiring? Why do you think Shibata is never going to wrestle again? Because their stiff style was stupid and prematurely ended their careers.
Guys like Tanahashi, Okada, Naito and Kenny Omega are the FUTURE of Japanese wrestling. Why? Because they don't need to rely on killing themselves with shoot strikes to draw crowds, they all have characters and charisma that will draw them instead.
You whiny old fags can keep bitching, but the future is here and is going to pass you virgins by. Get the fuck off this board faggots.
HOLY FUCKING BAAAAAAASED
>>3012714
I myself who watched back when NJPW was shoot style, think it doesn't work on this era, shoot style wrestlers nearly killed NJPW years ago, wrestlers like Ishii today can't draw dimes, Naito and Omega are truly the future
>>3012714
>draw crowds, they all have characters and charisma that will draw them instead.
nobody in wrestling draws, the industry is in it's dying days regardless of how many flips these guys do
